I was just given this serger by a friend and your videos are easy to follow and understand. I’m not as afraid to try and rethread and play with it now. Thank you!
This series is excellent! I’ve owned my 7034d for 5 years but only now, because of your videos, am I unafraid to thread it and use it for more than basic straight seams. Thanks!
rani sonawane no, you do not have to use your serger everyday. But you would need to oil it and clean out the lint as we show in some of our videos - on a regular basis.
Sergers have so much power, it is hard to contain them! lol There are a few things you could try. Make sure the rubber feet under the machine are clean and lint free. They should grip the table and help minimize movement. Also make sure the table you are sewing on is nice and sturdy, sometimes a wobbly table can add to the serger shaking. If that doesn't work then you can also try a mat underneath it to absorb some of the energy. Let us know what you tried and what worked!

Does it have a 2,3, and 4 thread overlock?
Thank you for this excellent tutorial.
You're welcome!
A very good series on basic sergers, thank you!
Re gathering: you can tighten the needle tensions and it helps to gather the fabric, best when gathering woven cotton fabric!
Does it has to to be in use like everday? Or it is ok u use it less like 3-4 times a month . Does it get any problems with less usage or anything?
