Great video! One think i could comment on is the naming of you Pokemon. Most of them are great, if not all, but to truly represent the diversity of India it'll be appreciated if languages other than Hindi be looked at when it comes to inspiring Pokemon names. Less than half of India's population speaks Hindi as their first language, and India's other vibrant languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Malayalam, etc should get some representation. Keep up the great work!

How about a Revavroom of every type, based on different types of vehicles. Fire could be a train, grass could be a tractor, etc.

    • @dippin4dots
      @dippin4dots ปีที่แล้ว +8

I assume they Steel type would stay the same so the Poison part would be the change.
      Poison - Revavroom
      Normal - Bike
      Fire - Tank
      Water - Boat
      Grass - Tractor
      Flying - Plane
      Bug - VW Beetle
      Dark - 1958 Plymoth Fury
      Ground - Excavator
Rock - Train (cause of Coal and also because trains go through mountains and rock tunnels all the time)
      Steel - Wrecking Ball Crane
      Fairy - Childrens toy car
      Dragon - Monster Truck
      Fighting - Pick-Up Truck
Psychic - School Bus (A Magic School Bus perhaps)
      Ghost - Horse and Carriage
      Electric - Electric Car
      Ice - Snow Plow

Absolutely love the creativity and respect for the sources! It’s really refreshing getting such a unique take on India’s lore, culture and landscape.
If I were to pretend you’re Santa and give you a wishlist (seriously it has been a gift to see your work), there are a few ideas I’d share:
    1. The gimmick be something Avatar orientated. Someone had mentioned this in the comments and I loved the idea. The only addition I would make is to make use of the ideas of Astras, which are divine weapons of the gods invoked my mantras (correct me if I’m wrong). It could be a legendary per Pokémon type so each one has something to have an Astra of, although I think that’ll be hard work for you 😅.
    2. For the overarching conflict, as fun as it would be to go for the cosmic scale, I would love one based on pollution. Given how important rivers are in India, having human disregard for their actions would be a compelling plot. Idk how it would relate to the legendaries but I thought it might be a cool idea.
    3. Diversity - India is such a diverse place and it would be a near impossible ask to have you represent everyone. But I would love even the smallest references to the plethora of beliefs, iconography and peoples of India.
I don’t expect you or anyone to read this, much less like this or take it on board. I just hope that by sharing my own love of this idea, I might help reaffirm the love of others for this brilliant project.

  • @rayyaninspookymonth1630
    @rayyaninspookymonth1630 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    My predictions for the plot.
Their would be 3 story lines like scarlet and violet.
Parina would want you to help her explore some of the folklores and battle some legend pokemon around the region. And use their herbs and turn them into curry.
Their would be 5 team fate boss you have to battle and team fate is not the main evil team and is trying to do something good, and there would be a much bigger evil team in the story.
Victory road where you battle the (12?!) gym leaders. My predictions for one is your mom since your dad says to make your mom proud.(kinda like norman)
Your rivel Kumar would try to cheat and then he gets expelled.(kinda like bede)
Bro made an open world game thats like scarlet and violet before it was announced and the simularities in character makes it feel better!

Maia is also the name of a greco-roman goddess of spring and flowers, which also works well with Padmaya I think~
Also fun fact, the original gargoyles, the french gargouille, were actually water dragons!
So turning an aquatic creature into a rock and dragon type based on gargoyles is so incredible!

The gyms at anytime and pokemon team being chosen based on the badges you have, a non linear story, gender nonconforming customization, and even an antelope starter (although mine was fire). Huepid reminds me of a Pengel, the titular creatures used for creating monsters in Magic Pengel: the Quest for Color. Also, learning that Chromantic draws inspiration from a fiery, destructive arrow from Hindu lore makes me disappointed that it's not fairy/fire-type.
