브가를 끝까지 보면 이등병 때 전역한 꿈꾸다 깬 것 같은 느낌이 강하게 온다 ㅠㅠ
I love DJMAX's jazzy tracks, this and Mess It Up are some of the best tracks in the entire series, but this one's video is so unique with the bad ending which is so a-typical for the series, with most videos having a positive with the most negative ones merely leaning on bitter-sweet.
It's one of those videos that seem to be left up for interpretation, mine is that the whole video is about greed and guilt.
The video starts showing a girl with unkempt hair and poorly fitted clothes, which tells us that she's poor, we then get an Adam and Eve reference with a mysterious creature with red eyes offering an apple, tempting the girl into the first sin. The (initially) innocent girl, falls for the temptation and eats the apple, and we see the girl being lured by the creature with a red and black frame.
The scenery shifts radically right after, with the girl now dressed in a refined white dress, a pearl necklace and well kempt hair, the creature accompanying her still, the frame is golden and coins are showering her, she's experiencing riches, but she wants more, she keeps eating apples, it's never enough, we are then presented with the price for her greed, she stands on a pile of corpses, it's not very clear here without pausing, but in-game you can unlock artwork for this frame, the corpses are of poor people, poor like she used to be, one corpse is naked and you can tell they were malnourished, the clothed ones have ruined clothes, one being roughly patched. She's rich, sure, but she forgot were she came from, she's selfish, she's willing to let others starve and die, what's important is that she gets more.
After it's all said and done, she's empty, a husk, she has everything but is not happy. A hero enters the scene, he slays the creature, saves her and gives her the one thing she was missing: love.
Abruptly, we are brought to reality, she's being executed by a mob. What's curious is that she has unkempt hair again and sure, it could be that the mob just stripped her of her belongings, enraged by her greed that brought so much despair and, for some, death to anybody below her, but I wonder if this is trying to tell us that none of what was shown was real?
Regardless, the moral dilemma comes here: Is this REALLY a bad ending?
At first it seems like it, it wasn't her fault, after all, she was tricked by a mysterious creature, right? The counter to that would be that, yes, she was tricked at first, but did the creature trick her into wanting more? She kept sinning of her own free will, her standing on the corpses is supposed to symbolize the fact that she KNOWS the price of her greed, she was fine with it as long as she got what she wanted, even in the "positive" ending, when the hero saves her and she finds love, it's still only about her, she doesn't care about the price that was paid to get to where she is, she still only cares about HER happiness, so when all is said and done, is she REALLY innocent?
The answer to most of these questions are bound to change from person to person, and many MVs in DJMAX (and many rhythm games like it) have this tendency to criticize some aspect of society or human nature and I love that.

처음에는 BGA를 VIVINOS님인 줄 몰랐다가 알고보니 굉장히 순한 맛(??)이네요.

My synopsis of this song:
A woman is greeted by an ominous entity which I'll simply name "Red Eyes". Red Eyes offers a seemingly harmless apple to the woman, she is reluctant to approach such an unsettling entity, but curiosity triumphs and she gives in to the offering. The woman and Red Eyes are seen dancing, she steadily becomes enamored with riches and royalty to the point where she ends up becoming the essence of greed; disregarding those who live under her rule.
Several more corrupted apples later, she's mentally trapped and drained by the entity's spell. Suddenly a prince barges in and challenges Red Eyes, the woman somewhat surprised. The prince emerges victorious and dances with the woman. The woman is finally freed from the shackles of Red Eyes and is pleased to live happily ever after with her savior.
Or so she thought...
She regains consciousness and realizes she's been restrained by angry citizens who want her dead. They burn her alive and the video ends with another eaten apple shown breifly.
Did the prince drug her before her downfall? Was the rescue all just a hallucination? Was she really even cursed to begin with and was already greedy from the start?
Who knows, but I love how dark this! It's a fresh thing to see compared to the usual "Happy Ending" videos heh
Maybe the prince was a lord well loved by his people, but after kissing the girl, he dies afterwards and when the girl regains consciousness, the people wants her dead. Just my imagination.
Interpretation
i agree with the "it was all a hallucination" take - i think she was just a corrupt person already
perhaps the entire idea of her being possessed by the demon and then being saved by the prince was just a construct she had created or dreamed in her mind the whole time - maybe as a way to dissociate herself from her greed and neglect as a ruler or maybe because she really did want to be redeemed but had no real desire to change - but she only snaps back to reality as her life is about to end and the *actual* consequences are about to reach her
tl;dr she did not want to be seen as responsible for her actions and idealized being "saved" from her moral "affliction" but none of that happened in reality because she's just greedy
