Fall Foliage & Conway Scenic Railroad's Mountaineer Train, North Conway-Crawford Notch, NH 10/15/23

Part 1 of my Fall foliage New England trip featuring the Conway Scenic Railroad's flagship train "Mountaineer" between North Conway and Crawford Notch, New Hampshire in the beautiful White Mountains. Here you will see the Mountaineer as it makes it's way through the colorful Autumn foliage of northeastern New Hampshire, passing iconic locations such as Bartlett Station, Crawford Notch rock cut, and the Willey Brook Trestle. Today's power for the train is Conway Scenic 252 and 255, a pair of former Maine Central GP38's. 252 wears a Maine Central inspired paint scheme, while the 255 still adorns its Clarendon & Pittsford red and white paint scheme, albeit patched for Conway Scenic. The 255 is also equipped with a rare S5T horn. Enjoy!
