I just found out about this. First thing that came to mind. TESLA...Jeff Kieth, is that you? It seems this band had alot of influence. How did I not know about this until now? Been digging through obscurity and never stumbled on this until clicking on a rare albums article. Great story! Love it now that I found it.
This album was released without the bands knowledge by the mob as a tax write-off for another record company. Original copies are a rarity and expensive.
...sounds a bit like everything.ITS CLASSIC ROCK.SOME OF THE VERY BEST IVE HEARD.I LOVE THE WHOLE UNDERGROUND FOLKLORE MYSTIQUE ABOUT IT.PUTS IT COMPLETELY OUT OF THIS WORLD FOR ME.THESE GUYS DIDNT NEED NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ROCK.THATS FOR SURE.
Estuve leyendo que si tienes una copia de este album tienes en tus manos una buena cantidad de dolares, los coleccionistas lo buscan 14.000 si encuentras el coleccionista adecuado...
I can hear the similarity...although Johnny, Waldo etc probanly didn't hear this actual vinyl unless they were digging through Morris Levy's dumpster ,-)
What an anachronism. By 1976 the PUNK scene was already happening. Back in those days these guys would've been booed off the stage. With the hindsight of time minds have changed. I suppose?
The band didn't even know this record came out until 25 years later.
Cookin'! Happy to hear this obscure gem.
one copy sold $14,000.00 dollars...(popsike results)....amazing!!!!
...guitars sounded SO GREAT on TAPE!

Don't worry, the band apparently didn't know about it either. It was one of those "tax scam" releases.
Noble records just did an official release on vinyl of this album
I just picked up the Noble Records pressing.

Terrific for me....love it.
Beyond wow
Reminds me of the band STRAY - same era, good stuff!
Stray is great! This is like a rawer Stray, like Stray crossed with the Stooges.

Bon son et un LP qui vaut un peu de sou.....même époque en france on avait ça aussi pour ceux qui connaissent pas "VARIATIONS" Nador 1969
Must've been released in 1976 but sounds more like 1969-1970.
Recorded in 1972 according to the band.
@@towhee89 sounds about right.
Did the HEARTBREAKERS steal a bit of RIGHT ON for their GET OFF THE PHONE? from 0:15 to 0:27 ?
I can hear the similarity...although Johnny, Waldo etc probanly didn't hear this actual vinyl unless they were digging through Morris Levy's dumpster ,-)
Not bad.
if anyone has this album the going price -$14,000.
shhh...don't tell everyone ;)
@@towhee89 I'll take two.

No. They were on the cutting edge of punk.
The main guitar part in A2-Solitude sounds really like No Suprises by Radiohead
More like "street spirit (fade out)"
only lp released by them?
YES,
Yeah that's worth 14k good god to think these talented bastards just recorded this album played a couple gigs and hung it up :/
You found an original of this? Geez
@@towhee89 No I didn't Im saying I can see someone paying that price for such an obscure gem
actually this album was a scam by the mob make money they made this album without them even knowing that they recorded it and pressed it
Those ripoff artists that semi- legally pushed bootlegs, are kicking their own ass now!
