Not a Trump supporter at all here, but I have to say that this speech was much better than I thought it might be. Glad he avoided incendiary remarks or flat out lies. He seems very well spoken.
If it was Trump vs Vance, that would be a race. But since they teamed up...Biden, who basically is barely hanging on from Parkinson's diseases, is pretty much out of the running. Die hard Democratic states aren't going to carry this for him.

I think the message was very clear when he nearly lost his life and got back up and immediately threw his fist up in the spirit of unity and shouted "Fight". I didn't like Trump when he ran for his first term, I didn't like him during his term. I didn't like him after his term. Then I had to step back and ask myself "Why didn't I like him?" after this attempt on his life. The answer was simply, and unfortunately "Because that's what was advertised." Without actually knowing anything about Trump I, and many others believed the lies that were told about him on a huge scale.

I don't like the isolationist element in his foreign policy positions but Vance did nail this and demonstrated why millennial political speeches are already more interesting than earlier generational cohorts.
