Creating Vector Halftone

I've been using Corel Draw for 24 years and I still learn something new from your videos.
I would have cheated and done a fountain fill on the background color and in the past when I do the comic book moire effect in vectors I pattern fill for the dots.
I like your technique better.

This is great help. Tedious compared to photoshop, but since i am a heavy corel user, i have an alternative now. I usually depend on my postscript printer to produce half tones. Now this. Many thanks.

When I try to duplicate the rows do not go straight across to the right like yours, the go across but cut up at a 45 degree angle?? I am in corel x5... it has to be in a setting somewhere, no?
