Looks like fun, but I can travel a lot shorter distance and get Rainbows of this quality here in Canada.
There is nowhere else in the world to consistently catch rainbow trout this big that are naturally reproducing without human interaction

What was the size and weight?
When I look it up the world record is from lake Diefenbaker in Canada @ 48lbs

Wouldn't these be considered steelhead? The rainbow trout of the great lakes that come back to the streams are considered that in the US. Or is steelhead just a term used in the US?
it is my understanding that these are landlocked fish
Steelhead migrate to saltwater. Great lakes fish are large lake-run rainbows. People call them steelhead, but technically they arent.
