Girl you FINALLY got the Easy cutter. I got mine last year on Temu and I love it. Big game changer. I missed these crafting videos! I am so glad to see it! Love the new room. The vibe is beautiful and perfect for them dolls on the shelf to complain about being downsized or replaced. I could see them screaming or crying into the pumpkin pillow and indulging in an old pumpkin spice drink. Thank you so more for sharing! Also, if you wanted to add some decals to those pillows for fall... You could hit up the craft store for some iron vinyl or vinyl transfers (Dt has affordable ones) An you could use your little punches or a Cricut machine to cut it out. And then put them on the pillows.

Great make-over! You might get better results, especially on thicker pieces of wood, if you cut halfway through, then flip it over and cut the rest of the way. I find that blade on miter shears tends to crush the "bottom half" of whatever is being cut when making only a single pass all the way through a piece of wood.

While the dolls enjoy a 5 year old pumpkin spice latte
I’ve found you can cut thicker dowels or boards by cutting it a bit and rotating the dowel so you cut through all sides and then snap it. You may have to sand, but it does work. You can sharpen the blade, as well. Pop sticks are a bit harder to cut, but can be done it you flip it over and cut on both sides.
Another tip, wetting or soaking the wood keeps it from splintering. You can also put a bit of masking tape where you want to cut to keep smaller pickles from splitting. You may need to clean up any sticky with alcohol from your shears.

I had no idea that miter tool existed, but I need it! I have a hobby miter box kit from Menards, and it comes with a saw, but they go dull pretty quickly after I'm done with them LOL. I wonder if that tool would work on non-round things like popsicle sticks, or thicker hobby wood. Your room looks awesome! I love all the orange, and all the decor!
