Heard this song on the way to my parents house after learning my Dad had just passed. To me this song will always be bitter sweet, knowing that i would never be able to tell my Dad i loved him ever again, but also knowing he was finally free ...i miss you Dad.

I'm so so sorry for your loss. I heard this song first in a similar way, when my father was near death in fighting for his life in the ICU. He survived by a miracle of science and doctors and nurses and time. I still listen to this song every now and then and cry remembering that time and how close we were to losing him. Bittersweet is exactly how I think of this song.

I can't even portray how much I'm looking forward to hearing Ludovico's new album as I'm sure that if the rest of the pieces are even half as good as this one, this will be an amazing album. Einaudi is such a masterful composer. He has a way with music and knows exactly what to write to make the listener feel something, whether it's sadness, happiness, serenity and so on. I love this piece and can't wait for the album later this year.

Ready for an anecdote? About a year ago a girl at a concert played i giorni. I fell in love and the moment i got home i learnt it in about 2 hours. Only today was i introduced to nuvoe bianche... now i have spent the whole day learning the full repertoire of ludovico einaudi... even as a 13 year old wrapped up in social media when i feel down i do not play my silly old exam pieces... i lose myself in the music of einaudi 😍
