I just talked to myself out of the Glossgods Gal on Jupiter and the new Blend Bunny Longing when I realized how similar the shades are to Oden's Eye Jewels and Gems, which I already have.
For me it is the Adept Inspired Palette. I was a few times close to buying it, but everytime I hold myself back. The reason: I am drawn to the green mattes, but I do believe that the shimmers are to dark for my liking 🙈
I totally get your reasons for not getting Yucca. However, it's now like my favourite favourite- I think because of my skintone and eye colour. If you have olive skin (whatever the depth, I am quite fair) and have green/hazel/brown eyes, YOU NEED IT. Why is it better than any of the other similar colour stories released at the same time? -- The ND shimmer formula. Like the new, amazing, sparkly yet smooth, dimensional ND shimmer formula. Just lends itself so well to that green-tinged neutral colour family.
I own the Flora Palette, and I love it. But I have a lot less palettes than you have, obviously 😊, so it really adds something unique to my little collection. I am also eyeing the Aurora, but at the moment I don't like to pay for the taxes from USA. I really don't get why nobody imports Colour pop. We get a lot of less interesting stuff from american brands, so why not this one? 🤷🏻♀️ Have a nice day!
Because Colourpop doesn't have the quality control needed to be launched on the EU market. The EU is really strict about what can and cannot be sold to consumers.
@@FloatinginDreams AAaaaah, it makes sense now. WTH someone from the UK won't import it though is anyone's guess......... Oh I know why, cause we never actually left the EU and still follow all their commerce rules *sigh*
I got several palettes from Cosmic Brushes last Black Friday. The Muse palette is my absolute favorite and the Winter Wonderland is perfect for bold blue looks. I decided not to get the Aurora struck palette from Colourpop mainly because it looked my the ones I got from Cosmic Brushes and I think the quality is better than Colourpop.
I've put the Safari Raine palette by Coloured Raine in my basket about 4 times at this stage, but the shipping is so high that I talk myself out of it every time.
I think the Aurora Struck would be a good palette for you and I actually would like to see what you would change in it, I think you create beautiful colorstories. I didn't buy the Ultra Violet and I talked myself out of it, because I have so many purple eyeshadows.
All Byredo, Suqqu, RÒEN, the Huda cream palettes are what I want but passed by for now. Colourpop really should of cut that palette in half. I won’t buy huge palettes anymore
You know my preferences for warm palettes and brands, so it may not come as a surprise that I got Yucca, Okavanga and the Flora (because it's pretty and because I like Amanda). Let me know if you ever feel the need to play with them😉
I swear that Cosmic Brushes palette gives me vibes of Profusion Cosmetics' Superbloom Palettes (Harvest and Ethereal). They are ultra-inexpensive but very beautiful and perform relatively well. You are such a fan of cool tones -- have you considered the Byredo Mineralscapes Palette? It's got some lovely greens, blues, and even a few purples and grays with some neutrals, mostly shimmers.
I tried some Profusion but I didn't like it at all. It smelled like burnt paper which is generally a sign of cheap ingredients and I was disappointed with the swatches. I don't think I can easily get Byredo makeup here I live.
You definitely don't need yucca palette. You don't like warm colors and that palette is all yellow orange and warm brown. The greens also pull warm except for one dark green. It's not worth buying it you won't use it. And you won't.
Don’t laugh but Profusion came out with their SuperBloom collection 18 months prior. The Harvest; is the Yucca & the Ethereal is gorgeous cool toned pallet! Yes there’s several GREAT formulas including cream to powder, buttery matts, shimmery shimmers. Best part $10/ea. I bought on sale @ $5/ea. I shared this with Jen Phelps & she did a swatch comparison definitely

Weather was abysmal today here. Storm and rain. It's finally starting to clear up now.
I totally get your reasons for not getting Yucca.

I am fair skin & have hazel eyes & it’s one of my favorite palettes to use !!
💚💛🧡🤎😊
Agree with both! I have a fair skin with olive undertones and brown eyes and the Yucca palette looks really flattering on me
Yahs, bigup my ladies (and blokes!) :O)
Your eye makeup is very pretty.

Yeah that's how I feel as well.
I really wanted the makeup by mario ethereal eyes palette until I saw that CP going coconuts which I already have is a dupe for it
The Makeup by Mario isn't unique in it's color story but it's the formula where it really stand out in my opinion.
I have the Colourpop Aurora Struck and the Ensley Reign Lands of Enchantment and I think the color stories are similar.
I was using Lands of Enchantment today and thought the same thing.
Love the video concept. I really enjoyed you explaining how you talked yourself out of.
Yup that's usually what happens for sure.
I've put the Safari Raine palette by Coloured Raine in my basket about 4 times at this stage, but the shipping is so high that I talk myself out of it every time.
Safari Raine is another one I didn't get. But because it is so warm toned, I don't regret that I missed out on it.

Yeah I think so too but I don't want to buy a palette just to reorganize it again.
I think you have the ND Lila already don't you? If you do I think you already have one of the 5 shades in the mini starlette.
I used to. I actually decluttered it.
All Byredo, Suqqu, RÒEN, the Huda cream palettes are what I want but passed by for now. Colourpop really should of cut that palette in half. I won’t buy huge palettes anymore
Those Roèn quads look amazing. I put one on my wishlist but can't justify the price point just yet.
I love the mini Starlett!!!

Lolz thanks but I am busy enough testing out palettes I do have.

Yep, that's exactly how I feel as well. But then I see it in real life and I still think it looks pretty and part of me wants it.

You can also try Alter Ego one and you’ll have the dupe to decide if it’s worth it. I saw reviews that it’s good. 🤷🏼♀️

Thanks! I have always heard it pronounce differently.
