      Luke Towan, I’m thinking of how you could make the building visually interesting since it is just a big glass slab after all. Thoughts include:
      - Glass lookout box like the Sears Tower
      - Blinking red lights at the tip of the communications antennas which will inevitably be put on top
      - Helicopter landing pad, with appropriate blinking lights and helicopter with spinning rotors
      - Plaza at entrance of building, with manicured trees, flower boxes, a water feature/splash pad (with dog playing in water jets), flicks of pigeons, street musician, food truck?
      - Window washer platform dangling off the side
      You could cram so much stuff into this one!

    Imo, the mix between the ambient led's and detailed room led's looks alot more realistic from a modern standpoint. Not everyone buys the same type of lightbulb so it makes it seem as if there's a mix between incandecent and cfl bulbs in each unit. Mixed with your tape idea it would be very believable.

    • @BoulderCreekRailroad
      @BoulderCreekRailroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +35

      yeah that is very true, I did think about leaving it as it was but in the end I made them to be a similar color. But yeah for a more modern building the variation would probably be good... heck, I've got two different colored bulbs in our lounge room! One in each light fixture...

    Here’s a quick tip: when using the applicator bottle, fill it 3/4 full and squeeze the bottle to remove the air. Then, tip the bottle over and slowly unsqueeze the bottle as you run it along the glue joint. This prevents the glue from flowing out too quickly and getting everywhere!
