- This will help pass the written test so you can get the endorsement or a renewal if you need. You CAN pass the written test if you take the time and watch this right before you go to test. I do it every 4 yrs when I have to retest to keep the endorsement. If I don't do a quick refresher I usually fail and have to go back and retake.. happens every time!

@@bepeas80 FMCSA website states 3 yrs for HM. But I am not sure about Radioactive materials since that is more dangerous?

Do anyone here live in Calif? ? I live in Calif and starting 2023 DMV told me I had to Retake EVERYTHING Knowledge, Air Break, Passenger, Tanker , Just to add on a Hazmat Endorsement
I haven't heard of that happening before. Hopefully someone who recently added HM can let us know if this is required in other states.
Really? I think it depends on what DMV u go to. U should be able to take the hazmat without having to take all tests.
