@@rbadanNaturally Weah is a Winger or Second Central Forward, and he never had to play a role requiring him to aid the press much. While defense is not his strong suit, his constant improvement in other areas should translate on that end too.

his preferred position is a wingback hes said in an interview but i have seen him play for the USA team as a rightwinger and hes great there. I really hope we get to utilize him as a winger and can sign another rightwingback instead.

@@rbadan Im an American that’s followed his career since hearing George Weah had a son in the NYRB academy so I’ve seen a lot of him for both club and country. Thats pretty odd he’s said that considering he’s been playing the second striker/winger role for every club he’s played for since youth level (PSG, Celtic & Lille) and has only played the wingback role recently. Even at that it was out of necessity to fit into the system the team plays in and not because he naturally fits there (if he did fit he’d be better defensively).
