- From our 6th Season of Paramount's hit 80s TV series, "SOLID GOLD", enjoy our host, DIONNE WARWICK and JULIO IGLESIAS singing "Never, Never, Never", arranged and produced by myself (Solid Gold's musical director and theme composer, Michael Miller - aka "Mickle").

This was incredible. She looks so happy that he is there and you can tell she is enamored by his talent (and he hers). What a combo....she sounds AMAZING here. 2:33 is sooooo BEAUTIFUL.

For me the sign of a good love song duet is when the couple sing to each other and not to the camera. Dionne does this well, and Julio's a natural.

Amazing vocal control from both artists to take a usually “big” song and bring it down to a gentle love song. Therein lies the utterly romantic sound of Julio Iglesias. Dionne knew that perfectly well. Gorgeous duet and the huge applause is testament to that. One for the history books! ❤🎉 Thank you for posting!
Julio Iglesias had become very popular in the 1980s and part of that popularity was a duet with Willie Nelson called "To All The Girls I've Loved Before." As improbable a duet that might have seemed, it worked. It worked so well that even Johnny Carson had sung a parody of it. This duet featuring Julio with Dionne Warwick is not only improbable, it worked very well. Dionne Warwick and Julio Iglesias made a fantastic duet and made it into gold..."Solid Gold" gold.
