    Burden, Golden, Egbuka, the 3 in order that could be within our draft reach.

    A WR that plays on the field ever time he is out there, not taking plays off, blocking when needed, catching the ball when it is catchable, and most of all acting like a pro.

    Fast route runners!! Steelers need to add not one but two of them. Pickens is the jump ball receiver!

    Great video Alan. It sure sounds like Pickens is gone. So you need 3 WRs. I'd love to see Adams/Cooper as a separator, Mike Williams/Slayton playing as a pure vertical threat and Golden/Harris/Ayomanor as your talanted rookie. If Fannin Jr. is there in the third somehow, have him as your position-less threat ala Deebo. Now the offense is beginning to have a semblance of talent in its weapons.

    They need a seperator/route runner. They have the speed with CA3 and Roman, and GP will stretch the field vertically. Need someone who can get open consistently and move the chains.

    What is the plan for Mike Williams? Is he too slow, he seems to have lost a step? He wasn’t targeted much, but when he was targeted he made some plays.
    Also, since we know we are going to continue to try and run the ball in AS’s offense, we need to get WRs that can block.

    Steelers have always found good WRs in the draft, the best WR is one that is a team player wants to play, can block, big, good route runner and can catch any thing thrown at them.

    Not sure why Godwin's name keeps coming up. He's best served by staying in Tampa with Evans where they make a dynamic duo. Our situation isn't as bleak as media guys make it out to be. Pickens is a fantastic talent who just needs to talk to John Stallworth about keeping his focus and strengthening the mental side of his game. Austin made big strides and is poised to be a breakout candidate in 2025. Roman Wilson was raw coming out of college and injuries impeded his progress but still could be a slot weapon in 2025. Skowronek will probably re-sign and proved to be a perfect big WR5-6 player who will thrive in our system. I expect the team to double dip in the draft much like 2010 when we drafted Sanders in RD3 and AB RD6. This draft has a nice list of big RD2-3 candidates who can play outside and with three picks in RD7 it's worth another flyer on a lesser known name. Keep your eye on Gadsen from Syracuse too. Though he's listed at TE for Cuse he has great hands and is a nice redzone target.

    I think Matthew Golden is a good fit. Reminds me alot of AB at least on the field.

    It would be a dream to get a top 10 tight end at draft pick round four. A guy like Harold Fannin Junior or Benjamin Yurosek. Round 4 seems lmpossible for those guys

    Savion Williams is a big fast X. Maybe around the 3rd round

    Can you do your mock draft with pff because it adds situations to your mock. Many steeler youtubers can call there favorite player out. But how good are you drafting in situations.

    The kind that has an offensive line that can give the QB enough time to find him.

  • @xabgx

    Steelers need big outside guys, who can also block if needed. Keep George Pickens and hope he grows up. Try and get a guy in the second round. Guys like Jaden Higgins from Iowa State, or Savion Williams from TCU. I’m hoping those guys are still around in the second round. But I also wouldn’t be opposed to getting tight end in round 5. This year‘s draft has a lot of tight end prospects who could work in our offense as wide receivers. Guys like Caden Prieskorn from old Miss, or Mitchell Evans from Notre Dame.

    Easy a receiver who has consistency a guy who checks his ego at the door a guy who will block for his teammates a guy who doesn't have a second graders temper tantrum if he isn't the center of attention. So basically a Hines Ward type player if you can find one in this day and age

    If its Fields at Qb it will have to be a safety green, or orange color guy , that is 10 feet tall so He will throw it to him, because when He played the 6 first games, Fields barely threw to the wrs. Hell he had one td to a wr in 6 games.

    • @mikep3455
      @mikep3455 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Justin Fields had 5 passing touchdowns. Steelers only had one good receiver in Pickens. Defense easily double teamed so he wasn’t open. Needed DJ last season.

      @mikep3455 Yet Old a$$ Wilson threw the ball to the Wrs. Hell He tripled that in the 1st two games he played

      @mikep3455 Funny then that Old Wilson tripled that to the wrs in 2 games then. 🤷‍♂️

    A top free agent wr is what they need but art2 wont pay one. Draft is a gamble, they need proven wrs.

  • @xabgx
    @xabgx วันที่ผ่านมา

    Secure Justin Fields, and extend TJ Watt immediately. I’m hoping to sure up CB2, day one free agency. The swing tackle & back up center a few days before the draft. Draft pick one LE or RE. Draft pick two wide receiver. Draft pick three running back, big guy,every down back. Draft pick four TE3. Draft pick five running back again. Draft pick six slot corner. Draft pick seven best available. After draft free agency another outside wide receiver. And a safety.

      Fields is a downgrade

    • @xabgx
      @xabgx วันที่ผ่านมา

      @stevepickering9697 I'm hoping that a year behind Russell Wilson taught Justin Fields a couple of tricks. I'm also hoping that a year of continuity for scheme and coaching does wonders for Justin Fields. He's younger and stronger than any of our other options. Super wishful thinking. I'm hoping Russell Wilson will come back as a backup. Continuing the theme of continuity

    Honestly until the Steelers hire Hines Ward as the Wide Receiver coach, it doesn't matter who you draft, there is a culture problem with the Steelers Wide Receiver until they fix the culture Problem!

  • @Varzaak

    Type of WR? One who is professional on and off the field and is a great football player. Thats the whole problem is people are looking at types and not whether the guy is a cancer.
