Think Ultimate Gohan is fine but I can see him age quickly. From the looks of it he’s dupe dependent and just a linking buddy for TEQ Gohan & Beast.

If he had like 50% or 80% DR, just straight up, and some extra crit boosts and better defense boosts, he could've been way better.

After using him at 69% on a full Majin Buu Saga team, he complements TEQ Ultimate Gohan perfectly. AGL Ulthan's flaw is that he has virtually no defense before supering and that his damage isn't that crazy when not at 24 ki.
Linked with TEQ Gohan and being able to activate his AGL ki orb change, he can put out NUMBERS especially with that Active, support the rotation defensively and tank great.
He's just a very fun unit. Yes, he's not going to carry the whole team which isn't great but he's powerful enough to where if you're running a certain team build, he fits perfectly.

There’s always going to be questionable units, 2023 was filled with questionable units and last golden week global got Bulma who was considered best unit in the game even before their 8th anni.
I don’t think this instance is enough to have a head canon that JP intentionally shafts units cuz of global, which wouldn’t even make sense because if the units sucks on Jp that just makes it a dead banner on both versions. Anni is the money maker but I doubt they purposely sabotage thinking it’ll offset

in my honest opinion, this guy is meant to compliment the recent buu saga buff. there is no need to summon for any unit, besides beast gohan, but this guy is def skip if ur f2p. pls note that we are going to get super eza for teq gotenks and super eza for phy buu is coming. so plenty of buu saga buffs for this guy to be relevant for a long time, but eza teq gohan is just better. id say on par with beast in long fights

Funny nano talks about his luck in pulls I pulled this gohan on my 3rd try for giggles before that I haven’t been able to pull no new characters since bulma before the 8th anniversary. I have no one but Eza characters clearing stages super eza agl ssj3 goku im surprised I haven’t uninstalled this game yet.
I think this gohan was a letdown. And the super buu stage was way harder than buuhan stage

I have one counterpoint to Dokkan allocating all of their animation budget to anniversaries: Beast’s non-unit SA’s. They’re by no means bad but they’re some of the weaker animations we’ve seen this year, especially compared to every other anniversary SA
Tickets are where they're at. (At least with me)
