Imagine a drinking game where you have to take a shot, every time someone stops, and dramatically stares in some random direction. You will die.

“ Fang” is the great but very good Canadian mystic/ adventure movie about the big black wolf and the Canadian police officers ( the parents) and their little daughter and pre-teenaged son in last encounter at last when the movie ended. That may be the good Canadian cryptic legend movie when I watched it at best. Thanks.

Very good movie. However, after running a long ways they stopped and they weren't out of breath. They weren't even breathing hard. It was like they hadn't been running at all.
Hahaha I thought so too. You cannot run like that without some very deep panting and breathlessness but they are so cool to watch!

Looks like the sheriff was wearing a Canadian flag on his sleeve. So I'm guessing that this was filmed in different parts of southern Alberta Canada, All in all, combination of a good story line and inexperienced actors. The 2 kids were the BEST actors. CGI was , hmmm could have more work done to make it more believable The wild girl and boy in jail didn't seem to belong in the over all story, seemed like extras thrown in at the last minute. If I was really bored I'd watch it again, only because of the 2 kids running around exploring and terrorizing the countryside and town (lol) - oh to be young again.

it is all about the unending battle between the creature residing within the selves of mankind when it wakes up and the other self fights to suppress it. sometimes one suppresses the other and vice versa and it goes on and on

Really enjoyed this one. Some surprises. Breaks away from some of the usual expectations. Sometimes funny. The kids were great. Not the usual annoying brats.
It never ceases to amaze me that when you have bad actors in a movie it makes me wonder whether the director is giving them direction! Acting is not all that difficult, just act like you are talking to your friend, don't act like your reading a script. Even movies made on low budgets have directors whose job it is to direct the actors on delivering their lines in a natural manner. Too many low budget actors act like they are acting!

Nice location. Somewhat slow moving, even with a lot of running around. A bit of a blue light special. Sometimes the filter choices work, but overuse makes them tiresome. Stirring the fracking, the animal control problem, electrical problems and a deadly fugitive into the mix livens things up. Additional twists improve things even further. A decent B picture - not quite adult but not quite kiddie.

i watched the whole thing and honestly the ads were more interesting. This is basically a kids movie with lots of cgi and silly music, not that a kid would want to sit through the incredibly slow beginning and middle to get to the end where we basically learn nothing. Enjoy

A lone sheriff of the vast lands and valleys of Brada County is confronted with a dual mystery. A pair of sociopathic criminals being chased across the plains have disappeared, and reports keep surfacing of a large, shadowed animal roaming the farmlands of the county. With the assistance of an environmental consultant and the mayor of the nearby town of Sombra Hollow, the sheriff races to find the connection between the mysteries that haunt the valleys of Brada County.
I like the premise of the movie-but it doesn’t make a lot of sense-too many “ingredients” thrown into the cooking pot makes it seem hodgepodge; the disjointed events, and too many creature forms, and pseudo-science and jump-scares makes me question what was going on in the minds of the people who who created this almost good movie.
Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed watching the movie because it’s the usual trope trying to be done differently, and interesting but it’s not very cohesive structurally-the acting was okay, the children managed to pull the story together-I think without their parts the movie might be lesser than meh-my nickel’s worth-don’t come for me.😂

Typical cop. Someone walking in a field so he stops and threatens them with death if they don't stop walking. Because he was in fear for his life from said individual walking away from him.
Don't bother-EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING - slow moving, too many night scenes and stupid plot - a widowed sherriff has 2 very disobedient kids who act strange and constantly put themselves in danger.. The Sheriff is a dundering guy who wanders around UN ARMED. refuses to believe what many townspeople tell him and a so called expert animal tracker who is a woman wtihout a gun who falls in love with the sheriff instantly. FAR TOO MUCH BS here. In addition, 3 stupid men go out in the dark of night to "search" for 2 teens who never came home and whom they belive may have been killed by a large animal. DID THEY BRING FLASLIGHTSs Noooooo.... THAT WOULD BE TOO SMART!! of Course all 3 get eaten by the animal but the Wives never call Authorities to report them not coming home. TOpping this off, the 9yr old daughter of the Stupid Sheriff goes into the woods with her equally STUPID 13yrold BROTHER to find the Creature and SHE CAN OUTRUN THE CREATURE., IT GETS MORE STUPID!!!! TWO SERIAL KILLERS JUST HAPPEN TO WANDER INTO TOWN. ONE OF THEM GOES QUIETLY TO JAIL WITH THE SHERIFF BUT BREAKS OUT AND KILLS THE NIGHT GUARD, THEN TRYS TO KILL THE UNARMED SHERIFF, WHO GETS BRUTALLY BEATEN AND LEFT FOR DEAD. THE ENDING IS WORSE: THE KIDS, SHERIFF , & FEMALE TRACKER ARE ALL CLUTCHED TOGEHER ON A GIANT ROCK AS THE CREATURE SNIFFS THEM THEN TURNS AWAY TO HIDE AGAIN. IT''S VICIOUSLY KILLED 5 PEOPLE IN 30 HOURS, SO MAYBE IT JUST WASN'T HUNGRY ANY MORE????? HOWEVER, the MUSIC was really good, lots of tension in it...... unlike the writing.
