Goldlewis is EVIL as fuck this patch. 248 pickups are nasty, gun does insane damage in combos and is an actual functional special move now, his combo routes are CRAZY with bt cancels, I love it but what were they thinking😂😂
The defense buff to Bed feels so nice. He feels like a proper big body with big body health instead of a lightweight with a massive hurtbox now. I was sceptical of the changes from the patch notes and first feel, but I'm liking Bedman even more this season.
1:12:31 funnily enough, according to the patch notes, the bomb IS supposed to be able to drop (in fact, drop further than it could before) but it just doesn't. We still don't know whether the patch notes just got it wrong or if the bomb travelling completely horizontally is some kind of error/glitch/oversight
Everyone except for Slayer and Asuka gained health this update but Bedman? gained the most by far. He went from being about average to literally the second tankiest in the game. He gained 90 EFFECTIVE HEALTH. Sin and Potemkin also both gained about 60 each. Baccpack you'll be happy to know Goldlewis gained 44 EHP himself, putting him above Nago who gained almost none. Slayer actually lost exactly 1 EHP which makes him way lower relative to everyone else who gained at least a double digit amount of health except Nago

Whereas Goldlewis and Potemkin have a blend of base damage modifiers and guts, Bedman just completely minmaxes into the base modifier. And also, with installs 10% defense increase, Bedman literally becomes the tankiest character in the game while he has install active
Imagine if Bedman 6H had a super disjointed hitbox for the first few frames for ainti air cenarios. The bombos are good too. Bedman 6H is my favorite button/move in the game btw
Maybe not just the first few frames. Considering how slow it is, maybe it can function as a "front-crush" of sorts, where it's not just disjointed, but it shrinks Bedmans hurtbox on its front side. I have no idea if that would be too strong, but I really feel like 6H needs some kind of buff/change. It's way too slow to be a proper mixup tool as it is without RC, and like you said, it's not disjointed at all, so it can be traded/beaten really easily.
@@jamfingers55 idk, its a standing overhead that's either safe on block or sometimes baits people into pressing and granting counterhit malfunction. against 90% of players, it's an "ok" button that is super safe, especially in low elo lobbies where you can do looping pressure with it because potempkin players don't know what an overhead is lol. but in celestial and above is kinda useless outside of some combos and conversions. What would be a MUCH better, and really, necessary change for the character would be, is more hit-stun for JD so that it can be a fuzzy guard break with JK for actual mix, cuz RN you can just crouch block after JD and then 6P for a guarenteed counter. Nautral Fly-swatting would be amazing tho
i really enjoy this stuff, but i do think the video does end a bit quickly, maybe you could just give a bit of a summary of the tournament, you know, the highs and lows, etc
@Gameboi-101 at this point, what kind of new move could he even get that allows him to become a mid or high tier. It would have to be the most juiced new move beyond MLA ever was. It would need to help him stall in the air, be a knock down for solo confirms that's better than 2D, it would want to have some interplay with Eddie. I honestly have no idea
