Peetty good video! I think your choices were on-point. I'd probably even take some more of certain items (mainly t-shirts...) and I personally always pack at least a nail file, as mine break easily. I'd love to know where your top is from, it's beautiful!
I would pack more long layers (tops & pants), sturdy jackets, and all closed toed comfy shoes for walking and exploring! The key is layering, it does get pretty cold when it rains or the temperatures drop!
Hi Kaye...I enjoyed your blog and channel a lot. I will be studying for 4 weeks at USAL. How did you get to Salamanca from Madrid Barajas Airport? Did you take renfe or avanza bus? Thanks and more power!
Thank you so much! Congratulations on going to study at usal! My study abroad program picked us up from Barajas and we did tours around Madrid for a few days before going to Salamanca. But renfe and avanzabus are great options to get there, ive used them both before around spain. Hope this helps!
Hi! I’ve been trying to decide whether to study abroad in Madrid or Salamanca and I was wondering if you had any thoughts. Specifically, was it difficult to take trips from Salamanca?
Hi there! It was super easy to take trips from Salamanca! You can take the bus from Salamanca to Madrid for pretty cheap (around 25euro or less) and the ride is like 4ish hours. I took a roundtrip to Milan while studying abroad and it was so simple! And as for choosing between Madrid vs Salamanca, it all depends on what you want out of your trip! Madrid has a major city life vibe. While Salamanca is still a city, you can get breaks from the hustle and bustle cuz there are many lovely nature spots and beautiful views too!
Hello there , I’ve been watching your videos for months , and recently I have also received an offer from Salamanca university, and I would like to find some friends from my home country (Kazakhstan ) who also study in Salamanca to prepare documents together, so do you know any one from Kazakhstan who also study in your country?
Hi there! Thats great youre looking into Salamanca! Unfortunately i dont know anyone from Kazakhstan here in the states or from when i was in Spain. You could try searching through social media though. Good luck!

Great suggestions, thanks! My sweater is last year’s zara!
I'm going to Salamanca next week! How would you adapt this to the fall?
