This is so so great and perfect for what I need! And I was trying to do the beginning snare left hand part with all lefts and it was killing me so it’s nice to see your way! Thanks for the video!
Wow! Nice play! I'm Korean drummer and worshipper. I wanna play drum this song. Thank you your play and score. Thank you for your good tip. I hope to watch your next song and worship.
Luke, hats off to you! This is amazing. Having the transcript there to play along makes it so much easier learning the groove structure. Brilliant! Appreciate you! Cheers
Luke! Dudeeeeee this Cover Is the best I've seen so far Mayneeee! I didn't want it to end. This was a solid, not overplayed and enjoyable Drum 🥁 Cover. Plus You also used a Drum Sheet. That right there is Awesome! We have The VICTORY 💪🏾 God Bless You Bro 🙏🏾 🍃
Wow! Thanks, man! This is swell. Awesome tutorial and the Drum Sheet is reaaaaally helpful. Looking forward for more of your videos. Appreciate it so much.
Good night, before you start I would like to congratulate you on the great inspiring videos. Well ... I wonder if you would have to market playalongs of these songs worships? How do I get it? I'm from Brazil. Much obliged.
Hi Luke, thamks for this amazing video. I am trying to download the sheet but to no avail. Do you have an updated one please? :) thank u so much. Blessings!
Hey mate! I’m trying to build a drum for worship, could you pretty pls help me by telling me what cymbals u use? Especially the crash (paiste on the right). Thanks a tonne bro!
@@jjerryjerrold I definitely understand where you are coming from. The misconception here is that the sound of the parts can be written out correctly or incorrectly. In reality, if a band leader sets the click to 150bpm for this song you can play 8th notes (2 notes per beat)...if the band leader sets the click to 75bpm, you can play 16ths (4 notes per beat) and get the same result. When lining the recording up to a click, I though 155bpm fit the most accurately so I chose to notate the part at 8ths. I also hoped that this would be easier for most people to read even if they didn't have much experience with music notation. Either way you want to write it out, I hope the video was helpful! Happy drumming and God bless (:
Great job transcribing and performing this song! I'm just curious as to why you chose to do it at the 155 bpm 4/4 versus 78 bpm 4/4. Kind of challenging to count 1234 at the 155 bpm speed. Also a little confusing to hear a 2 and 4 snare back beat, yet count all of them as 3. Is this something intentional to write a simpler version of the nice 16th note fills? Thank you for your time!
jjaammoo7777 Thats mainly to hear the subdivision throughout the song so its a better time keeper.. rather than hearing it at a slower bpm basically gives you that 8th eight note subdivision
I chose this tempo to make the chart as readable as possible. Lots of 16th beams and even some 32nds in the bridge can make the sheets pretty hard to read. In addition to what @Jesua said, if I was playing with a band on a click I would choose quarter = 155 just make it easier to line things up. All in all both could work, this is just how I heard it! (:
WOW! Great work on the video and the transcription. Accurate and so helpful! Keep it up, Luke!
Worship Drummer thank you! More coming soon!

Great job! What are the specifics on your cymbals, especially the crashes. Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words! 15" zildjian sweet hihats, 18" zildjian constantinople crash, 19" Paiste prototype (early 2000s), 20" Zildjian K custom dark ride
Question - how do you get worship tracks without drums so you play along like this?
Nice drumming - Should you have written 16th notes since that's what you are playing?
Depends on the metronome marking! I opted for tempo=155 so that I could write eighth notes to make it easier to read.
The tempo doesn’t change the note values. Put if it is easier for you to read and write it wrong, hey, you do you.
