Used your video today and Worked a treat . Couple of little things I never noticed on the video. One of them was the bottom grill has two. Bolts / screws that need to be removed prior to pulling the bumper off. Other than that absolutely spot-on. Bumper came off ok .. put the new top grill on ,, had to remove the old badges and chrome trim and put them onto the new grill. Little bit fiddly to get these off but managed it. The bottom front fog light went back into its clips after removing the screws and readjusting it . Also the horn which wasn’t working due to the spotlight that had been pushed back when I hit the deer and damaged one of the electrical connectors to the horn. That was also fixed. A learning curve today and definitely better with two people to take the bumper off so not to scratch the paint work. Great video and thank you so much.
    👍😁👍😁👍
PS. I purchased some body panel / trim removing tools. Made of heavy duty plastic. Definitely helped me in the process. Didn’t want to use any metal screwdrivers or anything like that that could damage any of the paint or plastic parts 😁👍

A massive thank you for this video! Gave me the confidence (as a non-mechanic) to fix the left side wing to bumper clip. Someone kindly grazed our bumper, which made the plastic clip detach a little. Using this video, I was able to undo all barring the bottom screws of the inner lining and got to the screw that fastens the wing to the bumper. As soon as I did that, it was easy to inspect (all ok) the connectors and was able to reattach with no issue. I'm sure my local stealers would have emptied my pocket for the hours work!

Thank you!!!!!, I just followed this guide and found two extra screws, one in each corner of the centre bottom grill. Not sure if I missed them in this video but might help someone else?

Yeah prob a difference between the pre/post facelift. I almost lost my shit trying to pull off the bumper, it wouldn't budge.

Yeah I followed the instructions on the video today and realised there was a bolt / screw either side of the bottom grill as well. Without these removed, you will definitely not be able to remove the bumper. Well pointed out.👍

Absolutely excellent video. Helped with my bumper removal and refitting. Would you believe it though? I was travelling down the road this morning and I hit a deer. Doesn’t seem too much damage to but there driver side fog light has pushed in on itself. Is there a easy way to refit the fog lights without taking the bumper back off. My seat Leon is a 2014. If you could help it would be much appreciated. Thank you. 👍😉

You may be able to access the rear of the fog lights by removing the front section of the arch liner.

@@SelectVehicleSpares on later inspections my front grill is smashed and my horn does not work . Obviously the fog light has been pushed in and has damaged the wire or something behind it as the horn is right behind the driver side front fog light. Anyway, I’m going to have a go taking the bumper off myself and see if I can refit the fog light and have a look at the horn and then replace the front grill. Luckily your car is exactly the same as mine. I have the 150 TDIFR. Same year as well. This video of yours is going to help me know when. I’ve just watched it another couple of times. Just need to get the Dutch courage to try and do it and then go from there. Anyway, will let you know how I get on and what I have found with the horn. It just helped other people at all. Just like you have me. Much appreciated, buddy. 👍👍
