After life I beg the day in every way I plead the night to come. I walk the gentle path and pray, Until my day is done. I’m down the hill and in the space Where echoes force my hand. I wipe the tears up from my face, As He unfolds His plan. Until the time when mountains speak! And after what they’ve said. The Afterlife my heart does seek, I take my daily bread.
