Bob Rotella has a story of a pro putter he helped that kept lipping out. The pro was so worried of the lip he would subconsciously imagine hitting it every time and would tell himself just don’t lip out. The fixes were giving the pro confidence by telling him he’s so good he’s hitting the lips of cups, aiming for a point on his line, and visualising the putt draining through the middle instead of subconsciously aiming for the lip. Garrett makes it so easy to pull for him to do well. He could easily think he's more than what it is, but he doesn't. He goes with the flow and has fun.
After meeting Foxy you guys when possible should do a good good week or two in New Zealand, we have some amazing courses down in this corner of the world. Maybe he can show you around whilst here

I don’t understand why sometimes your koala bear friend plays his own drives and y’all play your own, but on other holes, you ams and the pro all play the same tee shot
The pro can only play his drives, but amateurs can use the pros if needed. They’re playing from dif tees so the yardage advantage makes it rare they need to use the pros ball since most times they’re hitting from 25-50 yards closer. Same with par 3s. He has to play his but they can play it if it’s closer. He could duff it 5 feet in front of himself and 1 of them can stick it an inch away and he has to play his. If he sticks it an inch away, they can play his ball tho

Made a similar comment in part 1, but I think you guys got lucky with the best possible partner in Fox. I've played a couple of Pro-Ams and the attitude of the pro makes a world of difference - some barely speak and not many are as easy-going as Fox.
I loved playing this course in 04 the most difficult course out of the tee box I’ve ever played. Your drives have to be almost perfect every hole.
Watching the end just makes me appreciate Garrett so much more. He really felt like he let his team down and cared so much.

Bubbie, I’m really curious what one small tweak could do for your golf game. In the take away, try to rotate less with the lower body. The feeling will be like you’re not rotating your hips at all but in reality you will be. Also, feeling like you’re only taking 3/4 back swing goes nicely with this drill. You’re plenty athletic so a small change like this wouldn’t take you long to adapt and you will eliminate the big misses in both directions.

Ryan is from my hometown in Auckland NZ, I played in a golf weekend where his father, Grant, was a VIP speaker at the event. He also was a legendary sportsman in his own right playing rugby for the All Black's for many years.
