The reason why he said she reminded him of spongebob was because-she was on Disney before so he could look her up and see her as her Disney character-so when Jon saw Zendaya in person she reminded him of Spongebob because it was like this character that he’s used to seeing from the Disney pictures he saw of her is now really there in person. and this probably makes no sense but yeah
