I have used both a 1:1 and a 2:1 resin in molds. My 2:1 is less viscous (has a thinner consistency) than my 1:1 which is good for releasing bubbles faster but is more fluid so doesn't hold the additives as well. Much sinks to the bottom of the mold or spreads and blends too easily. I mostly use a medium viscosity resin for coasters and trays. There should be instrucions or product description on your resin which will tell you which use the resin is best for.
