I always notice how much noise they make an apartment building. Here, it’s late at night and George comes back in, slams the door forcefully, and screams “I GOT IT!!” at the top of his lungs. In any building I ever lived in, that would draw out at least five neighbors spoiling for a confrontation.

JD in the show Scrubs had the same issue. His new girlfriend Julie would always say, “that’s so funny” but never actually laugh. Mandy Moore played the girlfriend. To this day, every time I see Mandy Moore in anything I always comment “that’s so funny”. Too bad too because she was hot!
@ I can’t live up to the expectations of enjoyment others have for me. Although having a low baseline mood has somehow led to my developing a fairly decent sense of humour, from which they also seem to derive greater amusement…
For being so selfish, George dedicated a lot of time trying to help Jerry get the girl he wanted. If the roles were reversed and George said he wanted to be with the other girl, Jerry would've smugly said "that's a shame" and continued to drink his coffee. 😄
i used to work with this girl who never laughed. someone would tell a joke and everybody would be laughing, but not her.i always thought that was weird
She's me watching Seinfeld. Not once has he ever made me laugh and only the costars ever even caused a chuckle. He always had the condescending "I'm better and smarter than you" type of humor that just turns me off.
I know this show is about Jerry and his friends shallowness and inability to ever change but I actually agree with Jerry that dating a woman who can’t laugh is a dealbreaker.
And yet, very strangely, the one-sister-for-the-other-sister switch is not actually all that difficult to accomplish. Many men have pulled it off and lived to tell the tale.
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed at this show. It’s entertaining and I watch clips from time to time, but none of the jokes have been funny enough to make me laugh at loud.
This would be so much better if it also didn't have the fake laugh track in the background. I like to do this myself - sometimes, or usually, I watch comedies without laughing. There are some times when something is so unexpected, I can't help it and a laugh just bursts out of me, but most of the time, there is no laughter, there might only be a suppressed, internal feeling of amusement, maybe. Laugh tracks on comedies are annoying.
Incidentally this video made me realise that Jerry nevers laughs either 😮
Because a comedian can never laugh at theirs own jokes that's a rule , I read this somewhere 😅
He's an expert and it will take something extremely funny to actually get a laugh out of him. A film director does not watch movies like the average movie watcher. The film director is constantly thinking what he would do differently to make the scene better.
