Although it says BL it's much more like a supernatural/mystery novel to me with a few laughs and fluffiness with our 2 protagonists and heart wrenching scenes in the flashbacks that leads them to their present... Go go and read it!! Guarantee to make your day...😁👍
i feel sad when Wei Ying was captured by that stupid Wen... i immediately feel doom was coming... nobody was there to help him... of course there many scenes i felt deeply about... really a good story and anime...

@@jasminsantiago9236 It is, the anime is much more subtle than the novel but u can clear feel and see the connection they have with each other even with the anime. The novel delves into much more detail and order of things are different from anime cuz it would be super confusing if following the novel pacing

its from a fanmade video called '' our different paths '' the voice actor of lan wangji said those sentences in that video , a couple of other voice actors in the anime were casted off of that video including lan wangji , tho im not 100% the editor took it from there xD
Late reply but even if the audio isn’t from the audio drama, I still recommend it for anyone interested! It’s on MaoER FM and you can get the app from the App Store.
The seasons do cost money but the crew genuinely deserve it; you get an amazingly faithful adaptation with talented VA’s and lots of awesome extra episodes. It is subbed online, but I’d recommend both buying the original and enjoying the subs. The audio drama just recently ended with I believe 3 seasons.
Oh, and I’m now curious if they _will_ use those lines in the donghua, since they actually had Lan Wangji say it in the live-action drama _The Untamed,_ where people expected he wouldn’t because of censorship. :o
