Jhandu ji ,,,2014 mein 135 lakh crore ki economy KO 21 lakh crore ki currency se run Kiya jata tha Jo GDP ka lagbhag 15% tha ,,farji chart dikhana band karo ,,aaj2023 mein 280 lakh crore ki economy mein 11% ratio tha currency ka ,,, ab 1% aur kam ho gaya ,,, matlab 28 lakh crore ki currency reh gayi ... Baki digital stack pe sift ho gaya hai ..500 ki note bhi hategi.... currency print pe RR band karo ,, currency print ke sath transport security management ka kharch bahut hai ,, lagbhag 50000 crore yearly kharch hota hai ,,, currency hategi to security print transport kharch bachega ,,, 2000 ki note recall se jyada kuch fark nahi padta ,,, enough currency hai cash mein digital stack bhi ready hai...bank ko extra cash mil jayega ,baki sab smooth chalega ,,,
Sir you missed the point about duplicate notes, even if 99% were returned the notes which were duplicate were burnt .
loved the small cameo of that person(the atm line guy), who shall surely be remained as the mascot of demonitization 2016
Hi Akshat! Thank you for improving financial literacy in India. The best thing about you is your unbiased opinion, it reflects your morality.🙏 Please also mention that in tier 2-3 cities almost 50% of the amount exchanged in property dealings is in cash. Is it right to call it black money? Common people never asked the government to keep sector or circle rate at a discounted price. Who is responsible? Calling it black money would be hypocrisy.
Launch of rupee two thousand and its withdrawal, both moves mean wastage of public money without any benefit.
U mean demonetization was wastage?
Black money will not be solved
Registration value of land should be equal to market value
Most of the money with political parties... Reduce political parties donation
Circle rates are almost equal to market rates in Gurgaon & Noida but only 30% of market rates in Delhi because our CM is kattar imandar. Advertisement creates perception.
Appreciate ur courage and determination to bring light in the world !
Absolute Stupidity
No sense of economics
People who beleive demonetisation works seem to have donated their brains
Like wise pl who believe it didnt worked...have lost their brain
😅
I could still use the 2k note on organised sector shops and restaurants. There is no need to go to the bank unless I have Lakhs in 2k notes.
Yes
Question: If all the black money got deposited in banks in 2016 and got exchanged for new notes, why did so many SMEs go out of business and cause widespread unemployment? Why were those who deposited large amounts of black money not get prosecuted?
My hypothesis is that whatever got converted to white was not immediately available. The entire conversion is a lengthy process which needs time. Hence majority of businesses dependent on cash failed.
The cash will be deposited through multiple individuals or by paying those in power. Hence no one gets prosecuted. The only thing that took place was black money got redistributed to different people. Black money still remained.
I know builders that went out of business. Many ppl still complain of the money they lost. These grads who teach economics on TH-cam are only good for making statements and videos like these
I converted per 2lakhs for 20k paying the bank employee. No need to deposit.
Ghar baithe exchange hogya tha

Hi Akshat, I think during the recent Karnataka elections money was distributed and may be banning 2000 notes before next state elections in other states would block easy mobilization of money.
BJP minister son was caught with ra 2000 notes bribery red handed by Lokayukt raid
Most probable reason 😮
2) you say 99.30% of money in circulation was returned after Demonetisation so you are not considering significantly large money which was not in the books of RBI (fake currency and money printing with duplicate series) became illegal and evaporated (2/3)
Ur commentry is bang on ! Its such a hassle for common man and small busimess ppl only suffer the most !!!
Usually your all

You left out some important points for why demonetisation is good :
- Fake/Counterfeit notes becomes useless
- Discourages people from hoarding black money in physical currencies in bulk
- Definitely pushes the normal citizens towards digital money since keeping physical notes becomes extremely inconvenient...
2000 rs made it easier to counterfeit big value denomination, soch ke bola Karo...
I agree on this point. With China/Pakistan being our best friends, we do have a huge counterfeit notes problem. The solution is eliminating all cash transactions altogether. With covid and demonetization I have almost stopped using cash and only use UPI.
Why is cash usages is at it’s highest?
Didn’t you understand how it’s an opportunity for converting black to white like before.
Dude, those who don’t learn from past are meant to repeat it.
@@sandrosadhukhan Isliye to band kar rahe na re.. 2000 note was anways an intermediary to avoid cash deficit when 1000 and 500 was banned.... And 2000 note ka printing to 2018 me hi band kiyaa gya he...

Black Money storage ka Funda ye hai hai 500 k 4 notes lagenge, and 2000 ka ek note. The space to store 500 black money notes is 4 times higher than 2000 notes. And ek jagah se dusre jagah le jana bhi risky hoga due to 4 times high space requirements
It's nice to see you posted the meaning of draconian this time. I didn't switch to Google from video and still learned a new word, this time with it's meaning 😊. Thank you
US currency dollar is never been demonetized. So, it is widely accepted currency all over world. The globe will think twice while accepting Indian currency.
Any global level reserves will be dealt with different set of rules, keeping their interests in view.
You are partially correct. Black money isn't the only issue. You need to consider three more aspects:
1) Fake currency. Most fake currency is printed in larger denomination and it was a major issue prior to first demonetization.
2) Increasing liquidity for banks to loan out money which can boost capital investments.
3) Temporariness of the 2k notes. Most major currencies are printed in smaller denominations. This forces people to go through the banks for larger transactions. This 2k currency might be issued specifically for tiding over the demonetization currency crunch. If that is the case then that objective has been achieved.
भाई आप ने सही पकड़ा है...ये पॉलिटिकल ही लगता है..और economy ya public ke liye कोई advantage to nahi hai इससे।
Very beautifully narrated the core issue. I admire sir.
Thanks for making in hindi for majority population ❤
Very nice explanation and strongly agree. Because black money solution needs a very different approach and real intention. Problem is that still lots of work in india still goes in cash, like lots of permission for anything like business etc. But but but demonetization definitely solve the problem of f**e mo**y. I am sure that so many people must have witnessed the ammount of special money in circulation before demonetization.
Brilliant analysis ❤
From last few yrs 2000 Rs note vanished from market. Common man have almost NIL 2000 Rs note and govt of the day know better than any youtuber that where are 2000 Rs notes. They have all the deta. This time impact will be on few pockets than common man.
Yes many common man will get the job to exchange 2000 ok n behalf of others. 😂😂😂
To me the objective is very clear.... Government is rightfully discouraging physical cash economy . And the only way to do so is to bring in such knee jerk, unpredictable actions. Over time people will move to digital economy and that's the best thing to happen.
The current government is squeezing the salaried middle class..

Keep doing the good work sir 👏 🙏 👍
I think it's just to critise the move....overstated the impact
I disagree with you. If somebody deposit Crores of rupee of 2000 denomination in the bank than it has to be KYC compliant account. So tax officials will know about this unless and until bank officials also become party in this collusion.
Nobody is doing direct deposits in banks and get questioned.
It will be invested and you will see an increase in demand in real Estate, shopping, jwellery etc....
An increase in stocks and GDP....
The govt doesn't want to print more money which will lead to further inflation....
Today everything in the market has increased by 15-20%.
Also a safe way will be to deposit money as donation with political parties....

There is lot of jmprovement in the thinking of people's mind. Now it will continue to big push for small business.
To be digital.
And small businesses will stay away to keep this big bot and not even small note in cash, which will automatically answer ur ask where u want to say to keep money in bank and disallow them to withdraw

More circulation of money, which eventually increassses liquidity in the market that helps to increase GDP.

@Akshats.-kz ok boss. Pragati aavasyak hai 👍
Reality of Indian Political and economical system is that they are burning a huge pile of money in terms of subsidies and freebies. With limited avenues of revenue generation, govts of past and current is obviously adding additional burden to the taxpayers of the economy. It is a cyclical process with so many inter-related dynamics in play that it is almost difficult to come out of.
Thank you so much sir ....hindi me veido ke liye🙏🙏😊😊

Akshat, you have missed one important point. The demonetisation is not for a short period result. Its a result to come after for long term slowly ie10 to 15 yrs later. Consider no 2000 rs note or 1000 ever printed. Only 500 rs exist. Hordings 500rs becomes difficult with inflation increase. With value becoming half and double the hoarding size every 6to 8 years... No one is or will be questioning govt why 1000 rs note not getting printed...And how many Indians population spend 500 rs daily note???? Think again. Marvelous long term plan with e-rupee coming in. There are many more points in relation to prove this.. But hopefully you getit.
Best is use digital mode of payment. Honestly pay taxes even if you dont want to, keep all your fin cristal clear than you need not worry about anything and lead a peacefull life. Dont run behind quick money, black money etc. In india if you dont have any loans and monthly inc is 2 lakhs you are a king and just enjoy life if you gave too much money by wrong ways your money is just a PAPER.
Hey Akshat, please make a detailed post / video on cryptos, specifically regarding proper asset selection, portfolio design and most important of all, practical strategy and time to invest
Wise decisions of gov taken in past demonitization , we as india evolved in a such a way hat whole india started using upi payment !

I hope you can help me
Thank you ❤.
I don't think everyone will have to go to bank to encash the 2000 rupee note. It is still accepted at various places like e-commerce shopping websites, Grocery Stores, Food Outlets, Malls, Payment of utility bills and many more such similar things. If your 2000 rupee notes are not getting utilized despite doing all this then yes you will have to go to bank. For an average person it doesnt impact much.
i belive 90% of aam janta dont have 2000 r note
Political parties can accept cash donations upto ₹2000 only. 2016 demonisation served its purpose.
₹2000 note will continue legal tender till 30th September. It continues to be legal tender therefore everyone is bound to accept till 30th September.
What will be the impact on government plans for making 🇮🇳 INR a international currency or exchange between two countries like Russia etc
Russia denied taking the rupee. All countries know how easy it is to print money and f*k common man with inflation. The only real currency is gold.
The one angle no one is paying attention to is it will effect Nepalese traders/nationals the most
Hi Akshat, I loved the video. Is it possible that since the global banks are facing a liquidity crisis so there may be a possibility that the same scenario is also built for Indian banks and to delay that stance for a short term the govt has taken this step? Please share your opinion.
But cash is not going to accounts.
People will just exchange it for lower denomination notes.
@@hitesh74481 ✔️
@@hitesh74481ut there is the catch, i.e. limit on cash withdrawals ammount,
also, money which may be in locker and people were lethargic to keep in bank, they had to now.
May be by this way, it might help out liquidity problem...
Also, another point is it provide some political solution for the rulling before 2024 election which thay faced in Karnataka.
Let's see
Counterfeit currency also one of the reasons for rapid pace of demonetisation
In nutshell, 2K notes printed for wealthy people to store wealth, as you discussed. Now common public do not possess any 2K notes and only balance left 2K notes (3.62 lakh crores) are held by people who may not declare their possession due to tax laws. Way out for them is to distribute to common people for exchange from banks. Elections was one way out to transfer possession. However it seems that there won’t be any elections till September. As regards share market, the move is long term positive for economy
The comman man also doesn't posses black money , but demonization happened and guess who had a problem with it , common man.
Stock market is a direct representation of GDP of any Economy and India is no different.
Now , 2k notes will have implications in all factors which effect GDP....
Unfortunately GDP has no DIRECT relation with common man or population.
Now how hard it is to understand that this is a political move + to save guard real estate which was inflated in last 2 yrs...
@@shredder2copThis time it's not that serious like previous demonetization.
This time it's not even demonetization, RBI just thinks 2000 note is not even used to such extent that's why they are removing.
It will not have impact like last time.
@@shrin210 They are doing this because they don't want to print more notes.. printing notes adds up to inflation which is already 15-20% high name a thing in market....
BJP is afraid of losing the 2024 elections on economic instability...
The 2000 note will still be a valid denomination after Sept 30. All they want is to deposit or exchange the value in other denominations in that time frame...
They have kept 20,000 a limit because that's also the same limit for political donation to any party in cash....
What is the rationale behind deposit limit of Rs 20000, i.e only 10 x 2000 notes allowed. This will cause multiple visits to bank.
The whole political (and corruption) game is based on restriction to deposit max 20000 at a time
Nice perspective
Very informative..
It seems you really got heart with government decision
Still chill bro
Very good move by RBI. RBI should institutionalize it and at-least high denomination currency should print expiry date on it (say 5-10 years). RBI owns the currency and no one can keep it with them indefinitely and RBI can re-issue new notes back in circulation. There is no need to accumulate huge cash of high denominations for most common folks. Only disadvantage is for few people to accumulate huge cash that can be used for mostly harmful purpose than good.
Valid point this is a move against sme
This is another reason INR cannot be a reserve currency. I personally have $ and pound in cash and will never hold INR even for convenience, as this currencies cannot be trusted. To be a reserve currency trust is paramount. The decision is purely political and not economics. The sheer inconvenience of changing 8-10 of 2000 rupee is disgusting. The 500 rupees ban was a major reason for economic collapse of 2016.
You are right with your data points . But in a big a populus country like india , any major action is thought over several times and then implemented. There certainly are some unsaid reasons which we might get to know a year after.
There is a wide speculation of many counterfiet bills in circulation of the same bill in question. I did not hear you make any comments on that possible speculation.
Small and medium businessman are natural problem solvers , they can figure out a juggad even in antarctica . I do not see this bothering them somuch .
Who knows a new bill might be intoduced and not much is spoken about it .
don't expect this kind of unbiased analysis from him, he is a puppet of vested interests, he is more worried about his investments and the dubious ways he does to earn money and also means of fooling people are diminishing for him, he is running out of ideas to make videos, best way is to blame govt and make money, he doesn't give a shit about people or his followers!
भारतीय दुकानदार, जनता अब ५०० के नोट भी संशय की दृष्टी से देखेंगे.
Loved the video...agree with you ❤
Baseline : higher denomination currency is never a good news for any country. Ex : Zimbabwe had 10,000 rupee note. We all know the status of it's economy.
Good decision by RBI
Yes you're right demonetization was foolish decision and has impacted our economy in big way..Bhakt mandali can't understand this...they have already wattsup university gyan.
One sided opinion
Have you watched Farzi movie?
Do you understand Counterfeiting of Currency Notes?
If Somebody is Planning to induce Fake Currency in our economy of 2000rs note will be Immediately stopped by this move
The advantage can be that if the amount of physical currency in circulation be reduced. Means for every 2000 note taken out of system no new currency notes must be issued
Not really an advantage
Whatever hopes I had about this move being good to address black money were quashed by two things. This video and SBI note that there is no ID required to exchange 2000 rupee notes. So, Black would stay as Black and all the same for Political parties and rich people.
No ID is required, but if you visit every bank to deposit black money. They will caught you 😂 this way a common person will not going to be affected. And evrything will be done quitely. 🤫
@@akshitmodi3583 hmm. there was no history of catching any person in the first Demonetization and I dont hope they will catch anyone in this as well. This Demo may be for good but its definitely not to target black money or politicians who are hoarding it. They are all friends irrespective of parties who collectively ensure to rob the citizens
Also, few people trust banks. So most would like more control of their money. Which is in cash.
I think yeh move se ek faida ho sakta hh jaise ke sabhko pata hh kae 2000 ka note circulation mai bhoth kaam hh toh yeh kaafi sara paisa kuch logo ne apne pass store ke k rakha hh as yeh easy hh store kr k rakhna as a Black money. After this move they have to take out this money. Issae Black money ki problem toh solve nhi hogi but yeh circulation mai aa jayega..
2. Point is that kae apne kha k first demonization mai 99% paisa wapas aa gya that is true but mujhe lggta hh govt ko ek white paper dena caheye ki ussmae se Govt. Ne kitna tax earn kra black money jo deposit hua ussmae.
But overall it is true that is se itna faida nhi hua h jitna nuksaan hua hh logo ko. And especially Middle class and lower middle class families ko..
Moral of the story... Aage se Rs 10 ke note se Black money banao... Quintal ke hisaab se taul ke supply karo...
This will help in bringing the currency lying in lockers and other hidden places to economy and then government will not issue currency against that notes so that people will not be able to store and government will not put efforts in bringing it out.
Hi Akshat, as per Abhijit chavda (geopolitical analyst) there is one benefit of demonitization thay you missed.
Black money ki problem thik Hui ho na Hui ho. But maine dekha hai gareebo ko 4000 ruppe milte they and return main 3000 Dene hote they. To 25% money gareeb janta ne kama liya. Although agar government ko tax Dena hota to wo 40% tak jata but still 25% to indirectly Mila hai logo ko
Sir ji ! ye batao Electoral Bonds black money hai ya white money .
I think govt shuld ban 100, 200, 500 also. So that dealing in cash shuld look like punishment.... In this way even labour payments will be in upi and when everyone will use upi govt will introduce traction charge of 1 rupee or may be 0.01% then no need to request anyone to file income tax

No one dares make a big donation to the opposition via electoral bonds. So this is a move to try to stop money supply to the opposition before major elections.
Ideally high value note should not be there which helps reducing black money hoarding , you should understand it was only introduced to help money handling after demonetization and avoid panic not that purpose is served so good to take those off from market
Cost of the fake notes normally same across all denominations.
Now cost of printing and circulation must be lower than rs 500 which was 2000 earlier.
There is an error in the video at 3 min as it was written 2016 & 2020 demonetization instead of 2023. As always good video 👍
Akshat , I think our IAS and IRS officers working in Ministry of Finance and Also the Governer of RBI are fools.
Government of India should make is a rule to post all future officers of Ministry of Finance and Governors of RBI under you for a few months' training. You can very well educate them , so that they become able to take right decisions.
🤣🤣🤣
All leading economies have small denomination currency notes. For example USA has the highest legal tender as 100$ note.
This helps in a digital economy.
The more the digital economy, expands, there will be less of black money.
Just compare what 100 dollar can buy you in US, and what even 500 rupee can in India. If you still don't get answer to your question, then I'm sorry my friend nobody can explain you.

Use plastic notes to prevent Soiling of notes.
Indian political parties are finding ways to use economic power for electoral gains. Indian will find it difficult to avoid political interference in economic well-being. High time to regulate political funding and RBI should be held responsible for all blunders.
As per my opinion, the main reason can be retrieving the data stored in the chips of 2000 Rs note.
From 2016 to till date, those chip were collecting all the information of its holder and now the government wants all there data be analysed. 😂😂
Are these messages written by youtube bots?? 😮
This is called one sided feedback. Converting 2000 to smaller denomination will make keeping black more difficult. Also it will make it difficult to generate fake money in large value.
