Colin... I'm watching this series again. Watching you do brilliant, neat wiring is very satisfying to me!!
    Hope you're well.

    Hello,
I have a question did you glue the front fender?

Hi. The front, lower side panels are (as you probably know) not a good design. A half centimeter wide tabs are provided to glue them together. Although this should be done later in the build, I glue them early on and hot glue the seems for extra strength.

The Front Light buckets don't look too bad. Of course Rule #1 is always check the Manual... I browsed through mine. My Arocs 4151 8X4, the Cabs are nearly identical. SHORT! On me Grand Hauler it felt like I had a Warehouse to arrange the Wiring into! This seems like trying to cram a Football Team into a Nissan Micra!!! 😲😫🤮
Your Wiring skills are so far superior to mine, and we have about the same time in the Hobby. My Fault. I always concentrated more on Bodywork, eliminating Tamiya SLOP and Interior details.
It's SO bad, that my best option is to RIP OUT all the Rear Wiring, from Cab back!! 🤬😭🤬 there's no choice and the Taillights were wired NEGATIVE Common! 🙄 Old habit from about 50 years of working on American Cars.
Thing is, back to fit, finish and burying the rear wires into the Chassis. Including drilling holes in all the Crossmembers, to really tuck the wires in.
Then a Polished Alumininium Sleeper Light Rail Set for the Hauler.... 5 LEDs for each side of the Sleeper. I was TOLD that it was all pre-wired with resistors. They're embedded into the Alumininium with Epoxy.
Well, there were NO Resistors!! I learned that as soon as I fired up the Beier. POPPING all around the Sleeper, and a $90 hopup is JUNK!
Colin, that Grille looks so good with the Black trim over Red!! I'm still amazed that Tamiya sells pre-painted Hardbodies! I've only seen Lexan.

If it makes you feel better, I've made some silly mistakes. I once completely wired a SFR-1 with common negatives. Had to re-wire the thing.. taught me to pay attention to the instructions! As for the wiring; I have built many trucks to sell as 'new builds' and, aside the fact I have high standards anyway, I like to think I make a truck that will last without fault for a long time.
I've also forgot a resistor here and there.. POP. Ah well, Mr Perfect hasn't been born yet. Thanks for your lovely comments Carmine.

Colin.... the only Perfect People I've ever met, were LYING! 🙄
My Father, who was an Air Force Spy Pilot and Electrical Engineer AND Aerospace Engineer - with "more Degrees than a thermometer" as we used to joke...
Was the first to teach me the value of mistakes. Even the stupid ones can be a learning experience.
I can make Chassis Wiring look beautiful.... but cramming everything into the Cab, that's another story! 🙄
A Cab as neat and tidy as YOURS, I guess only experience will get me there.
I knew practically everything I needed up to 15 months ago, when I got my first Tamiya Rig...
And that's part of the beauty. At 58, I get to learn new things!
As far as the Beier, I've found that my problem is that I don't have Dad's systematic Brain! The long Instruction Manual sometimes leaves me Brain burnt.
That's why I was able to pick up MORE from your "Fancy a Beier" series than by any other frustrating means! 😑 I'm sorry to say that I let you do all the heavy lifting first. 😉
That's why anything else you care to post, I'll absorb with zeal.
