This man was loved by millions. He had his own cast & crew including the Hill's angels who obviously loved him. It just goes to show you the jealousy of the press when they can't pin a scandle on a good man.
Hello Ed , I have about 20 clips and scetches I took from 3 hours of old VHS , some of which are what you want to see. However I tried many times to up-load even giving the clip a NEW name , but alas I was banned/removed with-in moments for copyright infringment to "Freemantel" Media who now own the rights to all Benny Hill matreial...I'm not sure why this one clip got through , it was the 1st I up-loaded and after that no more was allowed..Pity as some I had where real Gems.
@GaryPeterson67 Hi, tell me what other of our shows did you get to see, I am fascinated to read that so many of our sitcoms etc were aired in the states.
@GaryPeterson67 WOW! I have been hearing a lot about this PBS channel. They must have had a large programme deal with the BBC and ITV companies here to ensure you saw all of this?
Thank you Simon for responding so quickly & explaining it. Some scumbags out there are taking advantage of a dead genius who had no estate. I remember reading this very bizarre obituary on Benny that he was a very strange and lonely man because he lived very frugally with his mother & never married or had children. Well I ask anybody to explain to me WTF was wrong with that? Taking care of his mother. Living like a regular person even though he was rich. Lonely? WTF were they smoking?
This was part of "Bo Peep: Nursery Rhyme Interpretations," featured in Episode 19. This was hilarious and Benny really was amazing in impersonating Raymond Burr!
It takes a special talent to imitate a foreign accent successfully and convincingly. Actors - comedians in particular - often possess this skill. Benny Hill was a genius in this respect. In his sketches he would do counless accents - both native and non-native - and he clearly took pleasure in it.
I dont see what is politically incorrect here🤔 is the best, best parody...to be fanatically political correct is the end of humour😓😓😓...fanatism is allways, everywhere BAD😶😶😶
As an American, Benny's skits poking fun at American tv shows were really hilarious. If you haven't already, check out his spoof of The A Team. Playing both Hannibal and Mr. T. And Harry? McGee playing Howlin' Mad Murdock.
There was another BH Ironside parody which was featured during the yakitty sax final chase, outdoors with him falling asleep in the chair and going down a hill, and the bald guy getting slapped on the head. I hope I find it somewhere here.
Thanks again Ed , the clips I tried to add to my channel were some of the best I have on original VHS , including Benny as Bob Dylan singing one of his parody songs , Mr Chow Min being interviewed by Henry Magee , the "Magic Video recorder" sketch , and my favorite , the reading of the Poem "Faith , Hope & Charity" from an old typewriter that had the letter "h" missing...U-tube will not let me show these so they remain ready on my hard-drive with many others waiting to be shared..thanks again.
I have a resident who really must use a wheelchair. He suffers from a permanent brain injury. Anyway, he does badly in med line or a crowded hall. Always parking across doorways and may God bless our feet. This was funny because I could see my resident aiming for toes and feet like Benny Hill. Ouch!
Total genius, these gems couldn't be made today, even if the great BH was still around, i can see three big mouth minority pressure groups here that would be having apoplexy!, long may he be on yt.
From Kill Bill to Benny Hill in three moves! Bob Todd blacked up! Henry McGee (show me the honey, mummy)! And the late great Mr. Hill with an almost perfect American accent!
Great clip with Benny and the lovely Andree Meely, who for those not familiar with Hammer Films, played Gina in The Brides Of Dracula , one sexy vampress with those nasty fangs and lusty smile, my neck is yours Andree... great post ,thanks
Yep , you are right ...VERY funny ...but sadly that clip is owned my Freemantle Media and is subject to license and copy-write protection under laws of broadcasting rights... I tied to upload over an hour of RARE Benny Hill sketch's from an un-cut 1980's TV video recording I still have , but U-Tube removed them all with-in a hour except this one..So enjoy this while its still here... Cheers , x
Damn, that sucks, Have you tried uploading it on Dailymotion or Vimeo? They seem to be fine for Hill material. I love seeing original tv airings of Hill's shows. I guess I'm an obsessive fan!
It was called Murder on The Oregon Express where Benny impersonates Mccloud, Poirot, Ironside, Cannon, Kojak and more. Brilliant and available on TH-cam
This sketch would be a major problem for the PC squad. The black character is played by a white actor. The character 'with a disability' is played by an actor without that disability. AND... The original character which Hill is lampooning was ALSO played by an actor who wasn't a wheelchair case! Offensive? It ought to be in The Guardian!
Well taking into account my comment earlier, if it had hurt my Father in Law's feelings I'd have turned it off and apologized. And if you laugh at black people taking offense at something you are the problem not them. You have to understand things are different now. Us white folks won't be supreme much longer you know.
Ben Elton's comedy amounted to over-using his acid tongue. When that failed, he went back to character assassination of those who were far better than he would ever be, the little pip-squeak.
@@jeffcarroll6553 Exactly. Only those of us who were around in the 1980s are unlucky enough to remember Ben Elton. I don't know of anyone who voluntary watched him either.
I can't find the skit where Benny is an English engineer arguing with a French guy because they missed each other in the middle of digging the Chunnel. I barely recall it but it was so funny. There was another one too where he was a Texan talking to an Australian. If anybody could post those please do. LOL
Made back when society wasn"t pussified and was not offended by every little thing. We had benny hill all in the family the jeffersons sanford and son etc.
check out episode "McCloud.. My Son! Oh My Little Baby Boy! he does McCloud, Cannon, Ironside, Kojak I wish it was easier to just copy & paste links but that seems to be impossible within youtube itself, ROFL ..

I loved when Benny Hill made fun of American TV shows. I remember the ATeam parody lol! Want to play a black character? Put an Afro wig on a white person!
I remember that, it was awseome. Benny as BA. Painted some geometric shape on the door of the van. When asked to explain what it was he said parabolics which sounded like pair of bollocks.
A funny funny genius from a time when people weren't afraid to upset anyone if they laughed. He wouldn't be popular with the pc milk curdlers but who gives a ****
Actually, I think the rights is owned by Fremantle, which is anything but free. The episode has been available on DVD since about 2004, so it actually isn't that rare. Now, that TV commercial he did for that airline in the mid 70's, I have yet to see that on youtube.
Utterly misunderstood genius.
Totally captured the times, burst bubbles everywhere.
RIP Benny sorry they turned on you in the end.
I think he was the best comedian ever, and his was the best comedy variety show of all time.

Benny was a comic genius and all those actors with him, brilliants
Oh yeah.
Thanks for posting this I had tears from chuckling so much .. Can you imagine doing this today ..
This guy was seriously talented.
Benny was the best. His "Ironside" was absolutely first-rate. Cheers!

Benny hill, politically incorrect but who cares.. was brilliant and far better than the crap on t.v these days and still funny.
Agree. It's fine to use four letter words and foul language but not ok to show men comically chasing after women
There’s politically incorrect to be funny, Benny Hill. 🤣
And there are racists that hide behind supposed humor, assholes. 💩
Hill was a genius.
i didn't see anything politically incorrect

Benny was gloriously unpc which is another way of saying was hilarious.
I love that he couldn't hold it in when the other guy steps on the broken glass...

Benny makes me cry with joy. Still hilarious today!
Tears in my eyes laughing. I've got a terrible cold and have felt terrible. Leave it to Benny Hill to make me laugh so hard I feel better.

I grew up in NY during the early 80’s, remember he was on at 7-7:30 then they increase it to 8 because people loved it so much.
Great times
I bet Ironside himself Raymond Burr saw this sketch himself and loved it.

He could do any character. Take a look at the video where he does impressions of all the famous TV detectives. It's hilarious.

It's usually complete fail whenever a Brit tries to pull off an American accent (and vice versa) but the genius Benny Hill is usually amazing.

+spookyben Benny Hill was truly a genius in real life.He spoke 5 or six different languages and nailed accents to perfection.
He nailed the voice or Raymond Burr perfectly
Andree Melly is pretty good too.
Except that Raymond Burr was actually Canadian.
