@busyrand He's light at 171 and only ran a 4.44 which his tape tells a different story. He had a 2nd round grade by scouting sites, but teams were probably worried about the 40 time and his lack of weight.
For instance AB was the same height but had 15 more pounds. Hill short but also much heavier so was Steve Smith. So teams probably worried.

@@julioxstaticv3782 he’s just consistent and good at getting open. He’s not like a massive target, or constantly making highlight reel jukes. Cincy fans like him a lot, he was a big part of of our offense for years. I wish the bengals took him tbh.

I loved to root for Johnny Knox back in the day. I wish he could have clean up his technique so he could have had more success, and also I was heartbroken when he was injured. I hope he's doing well.

Looks like a solid "hands" receiver who positions himself very well for YAC. Check some the spots where he catches the ball in space, reads the field, and runs toward the defenders faster than they can break down on him.
Glad they got this guy, he was on my personal mock draft to get in the 5th round if possible. Honestly thought he would go before the 4th round. Looking forward to seeing how he does 🐻⬇

One thing i notice is he doesn't have release moves. Not many db's pressed him, in the highlights at least, and when an nfl db presses him can he get off and get open. He has time to progress and hopefully they try to scheme him open

**With that being said, I could see the 2nd-to-worst case scenario= Mooney being “demoted” to WR3; and absolute worst-case scenario= Mooney is perhaps even demoted all the way down to WR4! TBH, it all really depends upon THIS GUY(T.C.’s) DEVELOPMENT, & WHETHER OR NOT CLAYPOOL SHOWS THE SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS: WHICH IS KIND OF “EXPECTED” IN HIS 2ND SEASON(SPECIFICALLY WITH “1ST FULL OFF-SEASON);-& 2ND SEASON ESSENTIALLY UNDER THE SAME OFFENSIVE PERSONNEL! 🤷🏿♂️**

My 2nd favorite late round pick after the RB from Texas. Can not teach the speed he has (said to be between 4.3 and 4.25) good hands, and I think will see time as a rookie and possible 3rd WR in time as I have NO FAITH in Claypool who has been a UTTER bust for the 1st pick in round 2 which is what we gave up to get him.

Part 1.. This lowkey can be our Tyrek hill nbs doesn’t matter where he went drafted the kids off ball speed and overall speed and acceleration is one of the best we’ve seen Damn near since hill. Give him his rookie year and first off season and watch what type of player he is season 2.. tonya opposite of kmet with Dj Moore mooney and clay pool, The one n only Justin FEILDS with 2 Already starting running backs but roshon very easily can be the RB1 he was the biggest steal of the draft our OL Upgraded with our first pick this year, Nate Davis and another OL I forgot who plus Braxton is already taking next steps, oh and I can’t forget the animal tevin Jenkins year 3 now and was hurt and now healthy him and our first pick are the best on the OL both have so much power and Jenkins myself is to literally inflict harm lbvs.
former RB. can run after catch with good vision. needs to get stronger but he's going to be fun on jet sweeps. he might kick Velus jones off the roster but i hope they both stick.

This kid is good, but he's gotten man handled off Press-Coverage in the past. He's a deep burner. Luckily if we got other WRs taking the Safety's eyes Scott can take their top off, but he won't be a WR1 or anything this year. He's Mooney without the route finesse right now, but that's still a pretty good floor. Love the pick and hope we can progress into a really great weapon for the Bears. Go Tyler!

Here’s where I get crazy our line grab our linebacker group may be the top five top three in the entire league with Edmunds and TJ Edwards that’s already crazy and how Sambor played last year and then head off-season this year. He’s going to be playing out of his mind with those three in the middle , it’s going to be very very hard to get past the second line and I think our TVs may be the best group we have with Jalen Johnson. He’s a very underrated to pick up of Tyrek Stevenson I love I love this kid to kid is a headhunter. I love those type of players just like brisker the type of players that will literally laying there bodies on the line to literally crack person with the ball
