A triple-double would be getting 'double digits' in three of those categories. So Angel Reese got a double-double in this game by having at least 10 points and at least 10 rebounds. Its not a statistic thats really measured in the mens NBA as it happens pretty regularly. In the WNBA its a pretty big deal. For comparison, Angel Reese set a WNBA record this season with 14 or 15 consecutive games with a double-double. CC did her job well as a point guard and provided a lot of assists and her passes were all beautiful and on point, Arike's scoring spree even started with CC's assist (AR was benched at that time though). CC's pass to AR was one of the best in that whole game too and their celebration was something cheerful given that they were rivals in the league. For an MVP status, I would've picked Arike over anyone that day. Also, Arike was the only player there who actually was invited to play for the Olympics team, but she declined saying Team USA is more about politics and not about talent and she doesn't want to be a part of it.
You meant Reese right? They were considered to be rivals but there are many differences. Angel Reese is a forward player whereas CC is a point guard, AR's job is to score and CC's job is to defend and provide assists, but still she showed an incredible amount of talent in her career compared to AR and dominates in almost every category compared to AR including points scored and average points per match, which is the job of forwards usually.

It seems clear enough the Olympic squad was assembled not because it was the best overall team but, to please those who made the selections. The ones in charge of selecting the players should be replaced 🤷♂️
No matter how shit her reasoning is, even if she was selected by the committee that includes Reeves, if Reeves doesn’t want her on her team she will control exactly how minutes Clark would be on the court. With her arrogance towards Clark it would probably be next to nothing or in garbage time, when she could claim anything positive Clark did was in garbage time.
Why aren't Ogunbowale and Reese on the team? They were outstanding. I wonder what the play of Reese, Ogunbowale and Clark would look like after playing together for while? They were more fun to watch.

CC did her job well as a point guard and provided a lot of assists and her passes were all beautiful and on point, Arike's scoring spree even started with CC's assist (AR was benched at that time though). CC's pass to AR was one of the best in that whole game too and their celebration was something cheerful given that they were rivals in the league.
For an MVP status, I would've picked Arike over anyone that day.
Also, Arike was the only player there who actually was invited to play for the Olympics team, but she declined saying Team USA is more about politics and not about talent and she doesn't want to be a part of it.

You meant Reese right? They were considered to be rivals but there are many differences. Angel Reese is a forward player whereas CC is a point guard, AR's job is to score and CC's job is to defend and provide assists, but still she showed an incredible amount of talent in her career compared to AR and dominates in almost every category compared to AR including points scored and average points per match, which is the job of forwards usually.
Clark & Reese playing on the same team is like Goku & Vegeta teaming up for the sake of mankind 😂
