Jesus told us to “bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you” (Matthew 5:44 KJB). Like many of His teachings, that’s easier to read than to do-especially for someone like me who has struggled with pride. But I have found that it does get easier, and that can be such an encouragement if we see it as a sign of Christian growth.
