So I first experienced this game by watching a Walkthrough back in 2007 just for entertainment. I never knew Sonic Chaos or most game gear titles even existed until I saw walkthroughs of them. I would later play Sonic Chaos in 2008 on Sonic Mega Collection Plus for PC and I didn't get the chaos emeralds until maybe 2009 or 2010. This is a very short game and if you don't mess up, you can beat it in roughly 30 minutes. I do think it's a good fun game, I do like it, it's definitely one of the better game gear titles. Bosses aren't anything too complicated, some might get a bit tricky, but they really shouldn't give you too much trouble. Plus unlike Sonic 1 and 2 on Game Gear, you can fight bosses with rings. Some of the special stages might also be a bit tricky but if you know what to do, they aren't so bad. This game doesn't really have much of a plot, but I suppose as long as a game is fun, it doesn't really matter. I don't expect much from a Game Gear game. Recording the longplay was not difficult either, I did pause at the start of levels to save state and I did have to load some of them, but you won't see that as I do edit out the failed attempts. So thanks for watching this Longplay!
Yep. I *knew* it was this game. What are your reactions whenever I guess most of your hints, Peter? The start up screen is the same as Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I learned about this game because my brother bought it in the early 2000's on Sega Game Gear. If I were to take a guess for your next Sonic longplay, it would be Sonic Triple Trouble for the Sega Game Gear.
It doesn't surprise me when you get it right, I'm just thinking, *Dang she's right again* Of course sometimes you don't know what game it is due to not being familiar with it or you guess wrong. I was surprised you couldn't figure out Shovel Knight (because it was buried deep in your mind) and Super Mario Bros. *I couldn't-a believe you-a couldn't figure-a out Super Mario Bros.* and yes Triple Trouble is definitely the next Sonic Longplay that I will get to eventually.
