The only male repellent thing about this outfit is how out of league you'll look Most guys don't even know to how approach a woman much less one wearing clothing so stunning and beautiful that they could be mistaken for a super model.
As a man and an introvert I can confirm that I would have to really work up the courage just to come up to you and compliment your outfit. That outfit is breathtaking!
It does really work, I wear stuff from 1280 right through to 1960 (oldest antique dress is from the 1910s, oldest accessory is from the 1840s, I do have antique corsets, bags, parasols etc. but most is repro) you get compliments and looks or people asking you about it (usually women).
The point is really that she's not showing her body. I can't see her cleavage I can't see her ass... I don't need to waste time trying to see something. If you go out in a little tank top I think I'll get a glimpse of your tits if you bend down just the right way and I'll be transfixed. This... there's nothing (perverted) to see. Muslims take it way too far, but they're not completely wrong. Their viewpoint is that women won't attract such attention if the woman covers herself. Now, I don't believe women should be forced to, by any means, but it's not wrong. I'd say if you have a problem with people looking, you shouldn't be showing because you can't control people looking.

Except, she is wrong about why. We would think she is out of her league. Also, notice how she said harassed and not hit on? Any man that is kind, wouldn't harass her, also we wouldn't want to embarrass ourselves and her by trying to approach her.
I second this. If she and I happened to pass by close enough where I could say "beautiful outfit! it's amazing" you would have heard such from me... But it's also important to note that it's really the hair that makes this.

Just another case of women being clueless. It's just so stunning but also confounding. Every man has to re-evaluate standard tactics and come up with something they are not used to. In that time, they aren't approaching. She thinks they are repelled. Clueless!!! I mean, whose going to fumble up to Arwen, Eowin, or Galadriel? There'd probably be guys ready to take you out for such an affront to the the dignity of malekind.
As a man, this outfit is incredible. However, I would never approach this woman because I would find her incredibly intimidating. Anyone who can dress this well is above talking to me.
No girl is above you and any girl that thinks she is isn't worth talking to. If I were single I wouldn't have any problem talking to her. I would compliment her dress because it looks cool and then I would be on my way unless she decided to talk to me further. The key to talking to women is treating them with respect and not a piece of meat. That will get you past about 50% of guys instantly. It also doesn't really matter what you look like as long as you take care of yourself. For example: always clean/showered, good haircut and brush your teeth. You would be surprised how far that will get you alone. One bit of advice I will give you if you are nervous talking to women is to get a job where you have to work with them. You will be amazed how much it will help you out. Don't be afraid of them. Most are really nice as long as you don't creep them out.
This is genuinely true, i experienced this all the time. As an earthy black girl myself i either get super nice compliments from innocent guys or kind compliments from women.
Giiiiiiirl... Not kiding my jaw was slack for the whole entire video and i had to re-watch it to understand it. Feels like you've got a women attractant side effect for that men repellent
Girl, you out here dressing like a goddess! Men aren’t repelled by your outfit, they’re intimidated by your confidence! Edit: thank you everyone! I’ve never gotten this many likes on a comment before!
See this is a problem. Women taking women’s advice about what a man’s brain does. This is not intimidating. A man will profile her. Most men are done with princesses and attention seekers. I see this and I see someone who is less interested in a man and more interested in men. This is the female version of the guy who hits on everyone with cheesy pickup lines. If you all listened to us instead of trying to redefine what we mean when we tell you all things, you’d be better off. “You are/look too high maintenance” means exactly that. It doesn’t mean what women try to redefine it as, it means that the man finds the woman to be too much effort for the value she brings. It doesn’t mean he’s afraid of a “strong independent woman”. It means, he sees her as a liability. She needs too much attention. Her need for attention is probably constant which is too much for any man. This is a liability woman. When women think about the guys they want, they have lists of things they want, but never show what they will be offering. I’ll work 70 hours a week to keep us in a home, but are you going to say thank you? Or are you going to complain about how those extra 30 hours of overtime are leaving you home to do the laundry and that’s “not a fair equitable division of domestic labor”.

i dont fear rejection from beauty, i fear acceptance, because the acceptance is only temporary and will leave me in pain afterwards, rejection is more simple and easier to deal with

As someone who regularly dresses in EGL, you're right. You're SO RIGHT. I've been hit on more when I thought I looked 'okay' but casual. But when I'm decked out like I'm on my way to a Victorian funeral, high tea party or about to check on my geese in the wildflower garden.... Crickets. Absolute crickets. And I've had one dude in the past follow me for three blocks trying to 'convince' me to join his harem. (His description of the group of women he knows, not mine.) And before I wore EGL on the regular, I felt like I was constantly dodging advances I didn't want. Now? Blessed peace....and a parasol to boot.

I think it has to do with how much confidence you give out. This outfit gives me the "she can kick my ass if I breathe too loud in her direction" vibes, just to explain how much confidence there is in it. Well done!

Okay this explains so much!!! When i'm at work, men hit on me. Somehow, I'm approachable. But when I dress in my own identity, I might get some glances, but for the most part, I have experienced that men are definitely intimidated or not interested.
As a man i think more woman need to know this, 95% of the time if a guy doesnt approach you, it isnt intinmidation, not in the slightest. If a guy checking you out doesnt approach its almost always for 1 of 3 things - 1 - he actually just isnt interested in you like that, or wasnt even checking you out in the first place. 2 - as guys, if we approach a woman in just slightley the wrong way, we are now at risk of someone trying to cancel us and call us a creep for showing interest, especially with how social media is. Or finally 3 - quite possibly they are not single, have you heard the saying "im married, not dead"? People in committed relationships have wandering glances, totally natural, doesnt mean they want to act on it because they are already taken and happy. This is not meant as a "get over yourself guys arent approaching you" type comment, this is just giving you the honest male perspective.
@@classmst89 For number 2. Don’t lie like that, we all know if a man wants something he going try to get if he can. Men don’t care about being “cancelled” 🙄🙄. The only ones who do care are the ones who have enough respect to not be like the men that we are talking about😆
@@lilcomment get over yourself 🤣😂 and keep blaming men for your problems lol easier than you ever having accountability huh? Safe to say number 1 is why people dont approach you 🤣 you and your opinion arent inportant, you should learn that asap
I'll give you an even simpler explanation: the clothes we wear make people think something about us. Most careers have some kind of basic dress code or uniform to wear. Iit generally choreographs a specific and discernable message about who you are. They are also often gender coded (men wearing slacks, women wearing skirts) and too many jobs basically make it a requirement to wear makeup. Whether it's viscerally attractive or not, in many ways you'll still inadvertently be dressing for the male gaze, and many work cultures have developed standards based on misogyny (women wearing heels, doing their nails, makeup, and hair, on and on etc). When we dress for ourselves and showcase our own identity we are not as familiar and approachable. We often dress for own pleasure, wearing cute stuff that would be considered too childish for work, or soft colors that are too feminine for a work space. We're no longer just a drone, we're a woman, who knows what she's into, pastels and romance novels? Eww. A guy thinks he knows you because he's interacted with other women who have your work style and is familiar with the general way to act. He can ask you about subjects he is more comfortable with, related to career stuff, and thus break the ice more easily. Women also often dress more defensively/ aggressively/ ambitiously for work, giving the appearance that they're strong and cold and practical, blah, blah, blah. Regardless of the exact attire, the point is you're less you in work clothes, just a pretty face and a "uniform". Considering how many men are apparently completely put off by the softer aspects of feminity and only want to go towards the more sexual aspects, it makes sense. I hate the gender divide in our culture.
why are you trying so hard to make her a victim? Purely getting approached by a guy is not sexual harassment, and people are free to choose if they like that or not. Dont make it the guys issue that he is confident enough to talk to a girl he finds attractive.

bro you read my mind, I thought about commenting the same thing but didn't want to make her angry, she's scary
My thoughts exactly
No one is above talking to you because of how they dress, head up king
Was just about to say that lol

As a man i think more woman need to know this, 95% of the time if a guy doesnt approach you, it isnt intinmidation, not in the slightest.
If a guy checking you out doesnt approach its almost always for 1 of 3 things -
1 - he actually just isnt interested in you like that, or wasnt even checking you out in the first place.

@@lilcommentyeah that's absolutely not true. I am always more aware of how things I say can be interpreted when speaking to women
That outfit is amazing. They don't approach you because they are intimidate by how freakin beautiful you are.
Male repellant: *check*
Little girl hero: *check*
Looking amazing: "check"
Not the most effective repellant, granted. I'd like to think I'd approach _just_ to point out how badass that fit is.
Not repellent at all. Total bs
@@commodorejones8044 youll survive this ;) when i look more "extreme" men tend to leave me be.
@@asmrlistner45 youll survive. there there.
Today’s kids are weird. There is nothing repellent about this outfit.
As a man, I'd definitely tell you how beautiful you look and keep it moving.
"dress like you don't belong in this era ' gets me, it works btw and thanks
SHE'S FKING GORGEOUS!
The repelent:
get so gorgeous that we can't think of a compliment good enough for you and just can't approach at all
You are giving 💖 GODDESS ENERGY 💖 They cannot step because they don't feel worthy.
Agree. Only a prince or duke or similar should approach her.
I cannot express just how much I hate that *being a human being* is not sufficient to work at preventing sexual harassment.
She didn't say she was being sexually harassed.
why are you trying so hard to make her a victim? Purely getting approached by a guy is not sexual harassment, and people are free to choose if they like that or not. Dont make it the guys issue that he is confident enough to talk to a girl he finds attractive.
@@prodbydaviswhy are you trying so hard to deny that the original poster was talking about repelling men in the first place? Dumba$$
@@prodbydavisnobody wants to talk to you

You look like a goddess! That has to be one of the cutest outfits I have ever seen
Maybe this is a girl attracting outfit because i was just mindlessly strolling and BAM you appeared and i was paying attention
You look STUNNING in that.
The era dress, the hair, the makeup, the golden corset and accesories. STUNNING
I'm a guy but this outfit is genuinely stunning
Hell, I was apparently supposed to be repelled but instead she stopped my scrolling thumb dead in it's tracks and forced my brain to reboot. Now I know how deer feel crossing the road at night 😂
It doesn't repel guys either
Would you hit on her?
Would you ask her out?
As a man, I don’t think I’ve seen more stunning outfit in the 21st century… TF is wrong with the men interacting with they don’t see that.
It's not repellant, the men are just too shy and intimidated to talk to someone this beautiful in an outfit this authentic and stunning
Men treat respectable looking women with respect "it doesn't matter what I wear, I'll get hit o. Anyway" is proven nonsense...
Go to more Renaissance fairs, people wear great fantasy outfits
Clearly, the men she's encountering are not men of culture 😂
I haven't even watched the video but you've got me in a chokehold. You are the definition of stunning. Thank you for your time.
It looks like something Aphrodite would wear tbh 😭😭😭
aphrodite my beloved 😻
The boots in the end were the final statement. I'm convinced
I'm a male and I like your dress. But I know that most women reject compliments and conversation, and I have no desire to offer women what they don't want, so I would admire you from a safe distance.
As a lot of men would, I'm guessing...
Same here
Amazing attitude we need more of this
@@marialuz7301lol you mean the kinda attitude that keeps people chronically online and interacting organically in real life.
👍🏻
HELP WAIT That's literally one of the prettiest outfits I've ever seen... Or do I just have really bad style?? 😭😭🙏
Not enough budget?
@@lisanguyen6324 Yes I am poor asf unfortunately 😩

It's 100% NOT supposed to be ugly, rather many people in the comments said that it comes across as confident in a way that predatory men don't feel comfortable trying to fuck with :3
No, its a good outfit, most people with taste would agree on that
I wouldn't be able to stop staring because you look stunning. Hair? Gorgeous. Makeup? Masterful. Outfit? Amazing.
What are you talking about ma’am, that outfit is gorgeous
That outfit is actually so gorgeous
I'm probably not your target demo but that is a stunning outfit that's really only outshone by its wearer.
If I saw you in real life I would probably not have the courage to hit on you but I would absolutely feel compelled to come up and tell you how awesome your outfit is and then bid you a lovely day.
I don’t think wouldn’t repel me, but it would stun me so much that I wouldn’t be able to approach. You look incredible and it does give off witchy vibes. Great stuff!
