Yes, Polanski is a r*pist and a cretin, but since a majority of our fellow countrymen now elect those type of people president, I don't think Polanski's crimes are worth dwelling on. That said, his Chinatown and Macbeth are two of my favorite films of the 70s. Macbeth is easily, in my estimation, one of the top five best film adaptations of Shakespeare. You can borrow them from me if you want to see them. I also agree with your ranking of Forgotten Gialli sets 6 and 3. Hopefully a future set will have Eye in the Labyrinth and the House with Laughing Windows.
