  • A tremendous thank you to all the extremely friendly drivers we met for letting us get some footage! This week on a trip to the bay, we decided to give Pacifica a look to see what had changed. Over the years this has been a hand me down yard for the SF area. Many of their older trucks wound up here and to my surprise have stuck around. The first truck we found was 14144 an old Autocar labrie msl. Very nice classic look and feel to that truck. Shortly after we found one of the classic Volvo labrie MSLs. I thought there was no way they were still around. To make it more interesting there was a two man crew running it! While following them we bumped into one of the old cleanscape RLs. The driver was super chill and was haulin ass. Then again bumped into another older Autocar msl. Finally we ended up finding what I expected the city to be full of, the oldish Autocar multitasks. I was able to get full videos of every truck except a short one of the multitask. Really blown away by this awesome operation. Definitely will give it another look soon. Hope u guys enjoy!

    Cool to see a two man route on a msl! I never knew SF had a cleanscapes truck! Keep up the good work!

    Damn everyone is just hitting it out of the park with the uploads this morning. I was hoping to see this in my feed this weekend! The sneak peeks you sent this week really had me waiting to see a full compilation.
    Definitely unexpected to see this kind of stuff running from Recology this year. Arguably older trucks here than in some rural parts of Oregon. Not to mention a rare work ethic for Recology drivers especially the dude in the cleanscapes mcneilus. Having watched the whole video (and will return to it again in the near future) I can’t say there wasn’t a truck that I didn’t like. Even the ACX sounded good. Excellent video!

      Sheesh rare work ethic for Recology huh. Depending on the city and route some drivers can service over 500 houses a day on a MSL and in SF this does not include going up and down stairs or in and out for apartments 🤣🤣

      @@socalgarbagetrucks2585 500 houses on a manual side load with some routes having 80+ apartments a day up and down stairs is not that much? Well if you think so last i looked they are hiring on their website 🤣🤣

    This was an excellent day! Lots of great trucks and fast crews. It was nice to see Pacifica still has some diamonds in the rough. Nice video!

    Great stuff right here! That guy in the RL was super fun to watch, and I really enjoyed the MSL action too. The one still sporting the NorCal stripes was really cool, and the sound of that Volvo was fantastic. Without a doubt I’ll be watching this one again, looks like you had a neat trip!

    This yard rivals Mariposa in terms of cool trucks! I enjoyed both of the Norcal trucks the most but all of them each had their unique flair. Know why the door is green on the the Norcal Autocar?

    My kind of compilation! Pacifica has some sweet trucks to offer forsure, those Labrie MSLs have always been a favorite of mine. Overall really neat to see this kind of route, I will never get used to those Cleanscapes trucks here haha. Great work!

    Why does the guy store all the flat cardboard for

    • @cagarbagetrucks
      @cagarbagetrucks 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because the truck struggles at packing cardboard. Storing it separately allows them to pack the truck better.
