Thanks for the video. Less about soccer and D1, and just that I seen many “Day in the life “Vids done, I’m glad you proudly represented our alma mater! 2° from the University, and spent many years on that Campus. Lol. Was searching “SLU” for something else and came across your video. Good job!
Outstanding video bro!! This taught me a lot and helped me have a better understanding of what college soccer will be like if I continue playing! I just have one question, how did you get recognized and how hard is it to get scouts to discover you? Thank you 🙏
Luka Damjanovski thank you so much! I started with the FC Dallas Academy when I was 13 and played there for six years. During my Junior year of high school (U16 year of academy), I started reaching out to colleges to come watch me play, which is what lead to me getting noticed. My best advice is to start reaching out to schools around that age, and if/when colleges and scouts begin to watch you play, make sure you’re ready and perform your best! Best of luck!👊🏼
Hey man, my name is Gavin Moore. I live in Dallas, TX and play for Solar. I noticed you played for FCD DA and I just wanted to use this as an opportunity to connect with you. I've recently communicated with Kevin Stoll and I was wondering if you could tell me more about the team and the training. Appreciate it!
Im not sure your going to read this, but I need some advice on playing college soccer, I’m a junior and I’m 17 years old, if you could give me some advice that would be highly appreciated, I have my made it to high school soccer YET, but I do play club soccer in florida.
Matias Meloni my best advice is to train on your own! Also, if playing college soccer is your goal, you should be proactive and begin reaching out to colleges via email. Never lose your passion for the game and you will succeed. Best of luck!
Thank you so much Jacob Goyen, i will try my best to reach out to colleges, and I will work hard by training everyday. Thanks for responding, means a lot.
what’s up Matias I play college soccer as well (JUCO and NAIA) one thing I would advise for you is to not only work hard on the field but also make sure you have the highest GPA possible during high school. Athletic scholarships especially full rides are very rare, but the better grades you get, can open up more opportunities and money that you can earn in academic scholarships. That’s definitely something I regret looking back, not doing the best I could in the classroom. Best of luck man✊🏽
