3 down TE 3 Down workhorse back and ILB that can play the field and take some pressure off the Safeties. This should be doable in the Draft. There are 3 nice TE's and a load of RBs to choose from. ILB is a different beast so we will have to see.
The Broncos need an athletic tight end who can get open and stretch the field, as Elway says. I’m not convinced the O-line is good enough despite favorable statistics. Nix gets rid of the ball quickly which cuts down the sacks, but in the running game the running backs often have no place to go. That needs to be fixed. They have to run the ball better. On defense, the Broncos are weak in the middle, especially at ILB and safety. The defense was cut up badly more than once with the game on the line. They couldn’t get a stop. They need help there, too.

Brees couldn’t scramble like Nix. Wes didn’t really see what Nix could do since he was injured the last part of the season.

I dont think anyone wants to spend $20 mil a year for an oft injured declining reciever well into his 30s. Denver would be much better off trading for Myles Garrett and paying his $30mil/year. Hes younger and lineman dont fall off as steeply as WR with age.
