Always used Alternate Start, but will give Alternate Perspective a go, especially since the former takes up lots of hard plugin spots. Now the Skyrim Cut Content Restoration mod looks fantastic - but what the mod page says and you didnt say, was it is not compatible with Cutting Room Floor, and THAT is interesting as CRF is a staple forever, and if it was removed - as well as all the patches that is used for other mods, what exactly is lost and gained by removing CRF and installing SCCR. I guess I'll give it a go.... but it is something most will definitely want to know. So I reckon a deep dive mod showcase of SCCR should be a priority for you to help us all out ;) Thanks for the vid as usual... excited to try out the couple I mentioned :)
you're 100% correct it is incompatible with cutting room floor i didn't get to do a lot of things for skyrim cut content restorations and it was already pretty close to a 2-minute showcase, to go over everything a complete standalone video would be needed but i will pin this so people can know that piece of information.
@@mastercheesey OK after testing the SCCR this is MY OPINION. Please note that the testing was not exhaustive. I personally will be using SCCR and uninstalling CRF for a few reasons. 1. The mod is newer, seems to be more faithful and has lots of CRF content. 2. The mod author is active and is helpful. 3. Seems more immersive ie miners at work etc 4. No Arthmoor dependency!! 5. SEEMS stable and requiring less patches (more could come) 6. OK - very subjective - Just 'feels' better - the game just seems to run easier - again, just a 'feeling' take with a grain of salt. 7. I jumped into Alternate perspective as soon as it came out, and it's still my favorite start mod . And that's because when I play as a non-dragonborn I no longer have to avoid going to Helgen for fear of the main quest starting. I love being able to choose just the right moment in my playthrough to start that quest, and i love seeing it happen as a spectator who just gets caught up in the event. Thank you for reminding us to endorse mods that we love. I just realized that i haven't endorsed this mod yet, and will be fixing that immediately!
I... understand why that armor is female only, because so many people play female characters, but... Einherjars were literally exclusively male up until GoW: Ragnarok had a female one for no reason. I'm cheesed that they chose to take a mythical Nordic male warrior & made a female-exclusive armor. It's like making Amazon armor male-exclusive.
ediT: wanted to say the main reason i liked this comment was because you said "im cheesed" Its rare the top armor makers make a good heavy armor for male characters, 1 every few months maybe . But as you said most people play female characters and that’s where the money is now
I've recently tried Alternate Perspective, and i loved it! The best part of that mod is that Helgen is restored as a completely functional town , and you aren't forced to start by the main quest, in fact the main quest doesn't trigger until you want, that's fantastic for roleplay imo, Alternate start has a lot of more options but also makes you install Ussep, and on console that 240mb make such a difference😅 Great video as always by the way! PD Sekiro Combat is soooo good!
@demonletsplays yeah if you use some mods that require ussep then it's mandatory to reserve that space..in my case i'm not using any of them now, so i replace ussep with Reconciliation
Realistic damage would be if you die with 1 sword hit and never reload. And remove all magic, dragons, monsters and potions from the game. So fantasy is a good thing about games, more fun.
2:10 Unless modded, companions will not acknowledge the Dragonborn being a Werewolf at all, and becoming a Werewolf "again" doesn't harm a single thing.
Do you think you could do a mod showcase on different mods on Breezehome? I just got a gaming PC for the first time, and I think it would be a really useful video and maybe a potential series if you wanted to do it.
I looked into one of your earlier video guides, specifically regarding the DMCO. I was looking for a really good dodge, sway, side step set of mods and that one seemed to be the most reactive, but for whatever reason, it doesn't appear to work anymore. At least for me, the animation freezes when I attempt to dodge in any format. Do you know if something changed at all regarding Dodge-MCO lately?

I always choose the female option when it's available. I've been male all my life-been there, done that. Men can't show me anything I don't already know. 1. If I'm going to be looking at a character for weeks or months, I prefer it to not be a male. 2. Males in games are almost always the same old bland boring tough-guys-yawn. Also, I like going against the gender stereotypes for women. 3. While this doesn't apply to Skyrim, the voice acting for female player characters is virtually always more expressive, more interesting, and more engaging than the male acting. Geralt is okay, but who wouldn't rather play Ciri with all of Geralt's capabilities? Broshep is tolerable, but Femshep is so much better. Ned in FO4? Yuck. Boring. The male character in CP2077? Never! Female V. OTOH is outstanding. In AC:Odyssey Kassandra is much more engaging than Alexios. 4. To the extent that a game involves dressing the character (or characters), female characters are more fun to create and maintain than are male characters. 5. IRL I prefer to hang out with women rather than men, and in games it's the same.
Honestly the only answer that stuck with me for this question is “if I’m going to stare at something for hours might as well be a good looking girl character” but honestly I don’t use female characters so I can’t answer
