Man the hate in the comments is unreal. Absolutely beautiful cinematography. I love that you put this out. It was REAL and TRUTH....That's why they call it fishing and not catching!
Bouhunter Unfortunately, sometimes that's just the way it goes! It was such a beautiful place to be and experience. I'm hoping to get back some day soon and land one. They were there, oh they were there. Thanks for watching!
Donnie Vincent Love your videos mate. Where I live in New Zealand we have some of the biggest brown and rainbow trout in the world. Do a quick google search of Twizel canal fishing and you'll see what I mean! Keep up the good work!
Probably the main difference between NZ and the huge trout that Limay has to offer is how accesible this public water is. 20 minutes driving from a 150.000 people city and those monsters are literally below the bridge! Course every angler can see them! But catching those experienced fish is a different matter. I know that from experience since I have been fishing that river for 30 years. No heli fishing, no remote lodges, no bags of bills to pay for a fancy lodge in a remote part of the Earth, buy a fishing licence and be ready for the brown trout of your life...just make sure to use the right tippet...these beasts are not delicate when they hit.
I stopped at the bridge to fish a couple of years ago when I visited Patagonia. I will bring my two-handed rod next time. There were some local guys there fishing the boca to the bridge with spey rods. I miss Patagonia so much.
Mate, biggest browns and rainbows for that matter are here in New Zealand as we get them around the 30 lb mark down near Twizel & Tekapo in the south island.
Check out:www.fishing.net.nz/forum/twizel-canal-fishing_topic110408.htmlThere's heaps of different links for fishing down there and then you get to go Thar, Chamois, Wallaby or Rabbit shooting nearby.
Well, it seems some people have never been there. I have fished that the Limay and other rivers in Patagonia for ages, there are massive trouts there and more if you go further south to Chubut and Santa Cruz; forget the ignorants
Who is this video supposed to appeal to? Certainly not fly fishermen! Lots of shots of rafts, trees, rocks, angler's hats and other random items, but very little actual fishing.
+Andrew Benak yes, I get all that...it's something most of us enjoy whilst in the great outdoors. But if you are going to put a title on your video which clearly alludes to fishing, then that is what we expect the content to show. Otherwise perhaps a title of "rafting in some nice scenery" would be more appropriate.
Nice looking river, but the title of the video is a bit misleading, isen't it? I have to agree with the kiwi guys. If you want to catch big trout on a fly, go to NZ!
Great footage. Pity about the background music you yanks always have to have.... I fish for the love of the nature and the sounds.... Make a video with nothing but the sound of the river and nature around it.

Esto es en Neuquén?

@@swordfish2089 make sure to schedule your trip for late April or March, that is when most of the large fish enter the river for spawning porpouses.
@@abeltripoli9132 sounds good. Do you live down there?
@@swordfish2089 I was born and rised in Bariloche and been a fishing guide for 25 years now.
@@abeltripoli9132 Nice last time I was there I stayed in Junin. Would love to fish for the big trouts of Limay.
Great images!
for big trouts you need to come to Limay medio in may (winter)
It inspires me with great feeling
Really good videos

struck2soon good thing it’s TH-cam and you can go watch a different video.
The only big shots in here are of the fishing gear, maybe you need to come fishing in New Zealand....
+Travel truly We spent only one day out on the water, and it was amazing. Thanks for watching and commenting. It means a lot.
I really want to join you please give me a chance... love from India

Muy lindo todo pero no sacaron ni un choto ...!!!🤔
Very artsy video. Need less art and more fish
LoL. I like both.

I agree Julian!
Change your title then
get over to NEW ZEALAND MATE!!
Sorry New Zealand has the biggest rainbow and brown trout in the world. There’s not one big brown trout in this video.
great fishing video but LOL only Americans wear waders in the middle of summer. Absolutely hilarious.
logic axe what makes wearing waders funny, dont get it. I guess just another dumb American.
Haha, talk is cheap...where are the big fish?
Arty nonsense especially the stinking music
Holy shit is the music horrible.
“Home of the largest brown trout in the world”…catches a tiny rainbow 🙄👎🏼
