@@i.t.s.s.i.l.v.e.r she's not a stronger tank tho. Her shield is on the same level as Diona. Citlali and Zhongli fill different roles. Zhongli is a comfort unit with buffs added on and Citlali is an OP buffer but not a comfort unit
I wasn't there during Sumeru, but I can imagine them adding Dendro made the meta more interesting... And then Fontaine came and everything just turned into hypercarry.
After playing the game for 4 years, i'm getting so tired of Bennett/Xiangling, it's just sad that there have been no 5 star replacements for those 2 after all this time.

@@YoshiplayerX She kinda does. She doesn't have ATK buff, but instead she buffs your DMG%. It's much more universal than ATK since we're getting more & more characters that scales with HP, DEF & even EM. With 4pc Scroll, that's 80% DMG bonus! I wouldn't be surprised if ATK Goblet is going to be better than Elemental Goblet for a lot of characters now.
Mavuika doesn't powercreep Xilonen at climbing, Mualani at crossing water nor Chasca at flying though, instead she is a jack of all trades, being worse at everything she does exploration wise buuuuut she can do a ton of different things, and with her faster transmission passive you wanna have at least two exploration Natlan characters in the party anyway
Mavuika's overworld abilities are already enough for me to pull her. Amazing. I have been waiting for a character that would have a fire rain attack, and finally she is here.
@@rikinator I meant a limited 5-star character :) I also want to add that Amber's ult is more like summoning a fire ball from above, it does not look like fire rain, while Mavuika's skill literally looks like fire lightning bolts, but it looks more like fire rain to me.
@@Izaayo1 🤓☝️Uhm, actually, 120 normal attacks can only charge up 180 Fighting spirit. The max is 200. But when we consider Mavuika charging 80 Fighting spirit by her skill, we can calculate that it takes 80 normal attacks to charge her Ult when she uses her skill once.
I also thought she was going to have proper support capabilities which replace xiangling and plus she was able to restore nightsoul point of other natlan character which will increase the duration of the character skill outside natlan .
The fact that she only works with Natlan characters is really disappointing. Archons are meant to be universal and define genshin meta, it just shows that hoyo just wants us to pull for natlan characters and spend. Meanwhile there’s me who doesn’t find any of the natlan characters appealing and was only interested in capitano and skirk 😭
true, i saved 600 IF for her. turns out she is a DPS char, massive dissapointment and might pull citlali for this reason (more valuable and flexible than her)
@@secretiveplotter4018 how is she only dps? She is the best pyro applicator in the game even without natlan characters. Reverse Melt Ganyu with Mavuika is much better than Xiangling. A lot of teams that were using xiangling as off field pyro applicator become much better now.

He didn’t show it bc it’s bad lol he also didn’t show running around with no nightsoul after burning it all up exploring outside of Natlan. It was a problem when the leaks came out, it’s still a problem and now people are just closing their eyes because she looks cool and ignoring the obvious problems.
PMC gives 98 points. This may shock you but you make teams around your main dps.... Go shit on her more you doompostards. I'm sure you also play Arlecchino with a team of Gorou, Kokomi and Nilou instead of a team that works. /s
As a Kinich player, I was saving for her so she could support with Pyro Application, but realising that she's more of a DPS does make me less regretful that I got Neuvillete by accident.
I'm honestly not sold on Mav over Pyro Traveler for Kinich. I think Pyro Traveler will have better range and I'm worried that Kinich at max grapple range (which you may want to do for safety, or because the enemy is large) won't trigger her support, whereas Pyro Traveler's coordinated attack does trigger off any damage.
@@vandereine mine is deepwood Dehya coz her pyro application is much more consistent than Xiangling along with her damage mitigation and interruption resistance for active characters although ofc less damage but I mean my kinich is already dealing too much damage anyway
Mavuika is the biggest buff for Kinich since his launch, he doesn't care about pyro app, neither Emily, since they just need for pyro to happen at some point. Pyro Traveller is not even close to her, even though they're similar in terms of buff, Mavuika does like 3x more damage than him. Its like if you used Xiangling just for deepwood and she did 0 damage vs using Xiangling fully built for damage. Also Mavuika don't have ER issues in Kinich teams
I hope you do more with her sub/ burst DPS and support potential, I have a few Arlecchino Mavuika teams I’ve been cooking up that I’m super excited for my favorite pyro archon and favorite pyro character to work together. Her versatility in role also make her most interesting in my eyes and people hyper focusing on her onfield strength and ignore her other options are missing out on a lot of fun potential she has. I’d like to see how she works with characters like the wrizzler and nuevi since she is an improvement over Xiangling in most teams.

For me it still goes to Arlecchino, she is just too badass sitting on her chair, look at you menacingly and the way she slowly moves before and after sitting is just too good.
I wouldn't say number 1 but I certainly was curious. Was pleasantly surprised giving the other Natlan characters. She definitely became a SS tier outside of Natlan and SSS in Natlan.
Literally the same thought, since her looks were revealed I thought about her being a motorcycle rider and I wished so hard she wasn't... I hate with all my soul that she just uses her motorcycle all the time, I wanted to see her burning everything in a somewhat Ayato style...
Mauvikas Massive hair is so pretty, the way it goes into a Taper in the Low part of her hair is very nice, and the way she makes her opponents Fade is even better!
I'm in the camp that finds her ride immersion breaking but I'm still gonna keep an open mind about it because I've been looking forward to Mavuika so much and, who knows, maybe Hoyo cooked and I'll like it when playing it for myself as well. Pretty bummed out though, about how her beautiful Normal Attack combo with that sweet ass sword is once again useless.
Most excited I’ve been for a character aside from Arlecchino, and easily my favorite archon, have around 333ish pulls right now and should have enough to hopefully get her, Citlali, and her weapon by the end of first half with enough left over to get some Arle cons. Absolutely diabolical banner imo my savings will vanish with the new year
Still conflicted with her playstyle. Feel like I'll get bored after a week playing her. I wish we can have her do normal atks off her bike like an actual dmg dealer.

well pyro mc and kachina is free. just use mavuika E and their E and you're good to go. it may not be as strong as you were expecting but it's still viable considering your hiatus.

Nah Mauvika is not inspired by Zenless, it's both Mauvika and Zenless that's inspired by Honkai 3rd. This is how Honkai 3rd has been like for 7 years, Mauvika's bike is even modeled after Himeko's bike and animated like Bronya's Herrscher bike mode.
I'm pretty sure Hoyo is hiding PMC for some reason. They didn't talk about him in the stream either. Anyways, it's 98 points from pmc. You are going to easily overcap with that setup. The reason Cilonen is optimal is simply because Xilonen is optimal on almost every team because of her kit.
Hoyo is hiding Pyro MC because they made their cons broken but only against the new Weekly boss. Against other enemies they are "Ok" dps. If they talked about it on the Live Stream, they would have gotten a huge backlash because they were overhyping Pyro MC. When 5.3 gets released people would be focused on Mavuika and Citlali. All I want to see is C6. I got Xilonen, but aside from her I've been saving since getting C2 Furina in 4.2. I hope I didn't miss out because I'll only want C2 or something
I don't quite remeber the later cons because they are irrelevant but c1 and c2 are some of the best in the game. C1 is +30% attack basicly unconditionally, 50% larger nightsoul gauge (120) and 1.25x burst generation. C2 is a buff to her initial burst damage, burst bike damage increase and it makes her offield skill shread 20 deffense.
Its kinda sad that you have to have xilonen or other natlan character to have any fun with mauvika. Like is skipped entire natlan lineup till now and now it turns out mauvika is useless without natlan characters. I was not even planning on pulling any other ones
I just wished that she can also do the grappling hook like Kinich since she's originally from the same tribe as him. Also her outfit from the Sunset animated short is much superior than what she wears right now. Would've been better if you try more non-premium characters. f2P players like us most of the time doesn't have enough five stars. Would've been better if you showcase more teams without Xilonen, Kazuha, Furina, Emilie, Citlali, etc.
Imagine if she had a Super Saiyan fire aura, dashing just above the ground or flying through the air (like she did in the Archon quest). Imagine she could give the whole team a huge ATK bonus, like Furina did with %dmg, and get rid of circle impact at the same time. Imagine she could give other Natlan characters a Nightsoul generation bonus to make her whole country stronger and be lore accurate. But instead, we have the motorbike and a main DPS that needs not only other Natlan characters but also Bennett to function optimally.

Why are more people not complaining about the fact that she basically requires nightsoul characters in the party to get the most out of her... If I'm understanding it right, that sounds soooo incredibly restrictive... For an archon no less... A character that is supposed to be usable in a very high number of teams and is supposed to provide the most bang for your buck.

Each one works in a huge variety of teams because lore wise, they are meant to be near the top in terms of power, and game wise, they are meant to be highly versatile to encourage people to spend on them... It's funny how you hide the UI to cover her "big oopsie" for Burst+Dash combination in the exploration block. People will definetly like it when the biker girl comes out=) upd. ah i guess he did forgor to cut it from some parts of the video. Take a look at lower right corner at 3:24 - 3:36 to find what "the oopsie" is about.
She wasn't using her burst, during her burst she doesn't spend nighsoul points and changes her appearance You can see pretty well she was consuming nighsoul points and her appearance was normal.

IWTL present her as a better exploration option than yelan c1 (or i guess any other character with extended ground mobility) when using combination of burst+dash. Burst grants her infinite nightsoul points through it's duration, so it's a given that you can use as much "dash" as you can fit while burst is active. But there is a catch, which you can see at above mentioned timecodes. She didn't generate burst while she is out of combat, which means that unless you're are planning to stop at every enemy camp during exploration to generate burst, than this exploration gimmick is one-time thingie.

Love the motorcycle but I came from Honkai Impact where Bronya has one. I miss riding it! Hopefully, Genshin will get a rideable horse like Honkai Impact has too! (Durandal Equinox)

And that's why im going to C6 Mavuika since she is not just a main dps she will be a great investment at C6 main dps,sub dps, debuff and buff, pyro app, and Powercreep exploration at C6 she can do it all
Honestly? A lot of people were expecting her to be the Bennett replacement as a goated support. But I think she's alright 👍 She doesn't invalidate other pyro characters and she looks fun to play. I can only hope I get her in like 40 pulls 💀
Bruh, i don't have any Natlan characters and I wasn't planning on pulling for anyone either (except Xilonen cause she is a broken support). But given how the pyro archon needs at least one natlan character to be able to charge her ult faster, again shows the greedy side of hoyo (and please don't give me all Kachina and traveler BS. They are useless and will significantly lower the damage). I wasn't really a big fan of Natlan before. Characters, archon auest, region itself none of these really was on par with the previous 2 regions. I was hoping Mavuika will flip the tables but her needing other Natlan characters just cemented this nation as one of the weakest (FOR ME)
I really want to see a Raiden - Mavuika - Furina - Bennett and Raiden - Mavuika - Furina - Xilonen teams. I want to know how well Off-Field Mavuika and Furina work together.

My biggest issue with Natlan characters and nightsoul is so restrictive. Wish she at least allowed Natlan units to regenerate this specific energy.

It's slow. More like 2 rotations for her skill duration so maybe around 25-30secs

I think Pyro Traveler will have better range and I'm worried that Kinich at max grapple range (which you may want to do for safety, or because the enemy is large) won't trigger her support, whereas Pyro Traveler's coordinated attack does trigger off any damage.
@@vandereine mine is deepwood Dehya coz her pyro application is much more consistent than Xiangling along with her damage mitigation and interruption resistance for active characters although ofc less damage but I mean my kinich is already dealing too much damage anyway
Mavuika is the biggest buff for Kinich since his launch, he doesn't care about pyro app, neither Emily, since they just need for pyro to happen at some point.
Pyro Traveller is not even close to her, even though they're similar in terms of buff, Mavuika does like 3x more damage than him.
Its like if you used Xiangling just for deepwood and she did 0 damage vs using Xiangling fully built for damage.
Also Mavuika don't have ER issues in Kinich teams

I hope you do more with her sub/ burst DPS and support potential, I have a few Arlecchino Mavuika teams I’ve been cooking up that I’m super excited for my favorite pyro archon and favorite pyro character to work together. Her versatility in role also make her most interesting in my eyes and people hyper focusing on her onfield strength and ignore her other options are missing out on a lot of fun potential she has. I’d like to see how she works with characters like the wrizzler and nuevi since she is an improvement over Xiangling in most teams.

I'm in the camp that finds her ride immersion breaking but I'm still gonna keep an open mind about it because I've been looking forward to Mavuika so much and, who knows, maybe Hoyo cooked and I'll like it when playing it for myself as well.

Most excited I’ve been for a character aside from Arlecchino, and easily my favorite archon, have around 333ish pulls right now and should have enough to hopefully get her, Citlali, and her weapon by the end of first half with enough left over to get some Arle cons. Absolutely diabolical banner imo my savings will vanish with the new year

Unfortunately I hate the MC with so much passion I will never use him. To this day I regret picking him over Lumine. He looks so freaking ass I can't stand it. I might be crazy for that but even if he was the most broken character in the game I would not use him.

Nah Mauvika is not inspired by Zenless, it's both Mauvika and Zenless that's inspired by Honkai 3rd. This is how Honkai 3rd has been like for 7 years, Mauvika's bike is even modeled after Himeko's bike and animated like Bronya's Herrscher bike mode.

Anyways, it's 98 points from pmc. You are going to easily overcap with that setup. The reason Cilonen is optimal is simply because Xilonen is optimal on almost every team because of her kit.
Hoyo is hiding Pyro MC because they made their cons broken but only against the new Weekly boss. Against other enemies they are "Ok" dps.
If they talked about it on the Live Stream, they would have gotten a huge backlash because they were overhyping Pyro MC.

Her c1 makes her not that dependent on Natlan nightsoul gerenators, and her c2 is a big damage burst -20% def if using the press version
I don't quite remeber the later cons because they are irrelevant but c1 and c2 are some of the best in the game.
C1 is +30% attack basicly unconditionally, 50% larger nightsoul gauge (120) and 1.25x burst generation.
C2 is a buff to her initial burst damage, burst bike damage increase and it makes her offield skill shread 20 deffense.

They missed the opportunity to make her flying while trowing fireball with her burst..that would be more interesting instead riding a bike
Imagine if she had a Super Saiyan fire aura, dashing just above the ground or flying through the air (like she did in the Archon quest).
Imagine she could give the whole team a huge ATK bonus, like Furina did with %dmg, and get rid of circle impact at the same time.
Imagine she could give other Natlan characters a Nightsoul generation bonus to make her whole country stronger and be lore accurate.
But instead, we have the motorbike and a main DPS that needs not only other Natlan characters but also Bennett to function optimally.

If I'm understanding it right, that sounds soooo incredibly restrictive... For an archon no less... A character that is supposed to be usable in a very high number of teams and is supposed to provide the most bang for your buck.

IWTL present her as a better exploration option than yelan c1 (or i guess any other character with extended ground mobility) when using combination of burst+dash. Burst grants her infinite nightsoul points through it's duration, so it's a given that you can use as much "dash" as you can fit while burst is active.
But there is a catch, which you can see at above mentioned timecodes. She didn't generate burst while she is out of combat, which means that unless you're are planning to stop at every enemy camp during exploration to generate burst, than this exploration gimmick is one-time thingie.

Bruh, i don't have any Natlan characters and I wasn't planning on pulling for anyone either (except Xilonen cause she is a broken support). But given how the pyro archon needs at least one natlan character to be able to charge her ult faster, again shows the greedy side of hoyo (and please don't give me all Kachina and traveler BS. They are useless and will significantly lower the damage).
I wasn't really a big fan of Natlan before. Characters, archon auest, region itself none of these really was on par with the previous 2 regions. I was hoping Mavuika will flip the tables but her needing other Natlan characters just cemented this nation as one of the weakest (FOR ME)
