One has to love the excitement of an "old school" junkyard. The fuzzy feeling in a stomach with the hairs on the neck standing up only compares to a bull elk 20 feet away in thick timber. I regret selling the 59 GMC 1/2 ton with the 270 inline 6. Even had a "fleet grill" in it.
Steve, thanks for taking us along on this adventure to John the collector's place! He has some cool stuff and you're one of the best treasure hunters. Always fun to see what kind of stuff you're getting into and hearing a story or two. Peace
I think it was damn cool the badges were behind the seat of that old truck. And you bringing back memories of passing notes in class. Those were the days bro 💪🏼💪🏼♥️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@@WelderUpVegas as I was watching the video I was telling myself those were put back there for you. If anybody is going to find the gold it is definitely you. Always big love brother we would make notes and fold the paper up like a triangle and we would flip as far as we could for the field goal. And hope it got to where it needed to go before the teacher got a hold of it 🤣🤣🤣🤣♥️🤟🏽🤟🏽
Hell yeah!!!!! I’m always waiting for Welderup videos on TH-cam, like a trap door spider!!! Welderupvegas is my favorite place in Vegas and I love to go there every time I’m in town. Thanks Steve!! I was blown away last time I was there in March. And as always I couldn’t get out without buying shirts. I got the new Diablo truck t shirt.
Love the videos. Back in 1981 I had a 55 Chevy. My seats had the same stitching pattern is in your truck. I always wondered what my buckets were out of. Smitty in Vegas.
I know I saw 1 dodge pickup but the truck you had the door open on and said it was worth 2500 was that also dodge. Great honey hole I kept seeing treasures all over.
Hey Steve !! ""COOL BEANS "" for finding that ""CHEVY "" !!! Gona be great to see it run again !!! Know you like those ""CUMMINS"" Motor so guess that's what it will have for sure !!! Gene would ""LOVE"" to have that '34 your got !!! 🙃😉😛👀👀👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
Bonjour Steve, In France, we have not such junkyards ! Bultaco, Kawasaki, you know also them, cool, I was Yamaha 😁 A Cummins in this nice truck ? Why not and could you remind me why you prefer diesel to gasoline engines ? In France especially, diesel was promoted because built by a French company you perhaps know, Peugeot, merged later with Talbot and Citroen and now a worldwiid firm called Stellantis. Amicalement, Raphaël
Great stuff Steve, we had a Apache 1/2 ton and a 2 1/2 ton Viking with 2 speed axle. Kids nowadays would know how to start them with the starter having a pedal on the floor. Keep em comin hoss🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
@@WelderUpVegas I'm chasing one to build a motorhome and then cruise around Aussie with it. I already have a vintage Leyland Leopard that I'm in the process of finishing off, then my kids can use it. If you come across any more like it or one of the mid sixties GMs, give me a yell.
Hey Steve can that 55 be got Charlie Manson❤ bultaco are cool remember my dad making bets please start somebody will always end up with a broken ankle suburban that tile rope to pull it with the El Camino❤ dude by up hailing from your rafters ok later
That's not a Junk Yard, it's a Candy store 😂.
The Vegas sun bakes the hell out of everything but man I’d take that over rust ant day!
Phx heat worse than Vegas heat
Steve i did the same damn thing !!! Dirtbike throttle was my kill switch on my 73 kdx 100 it had ape hangers lol

Can't wait to see what you do with it. Love the older trucks and cars. Stay safe and keep up the great work. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Jeff. Will do!
Love that 60's Dodge pickup. How was body? Usual they were rusty. That looked good....what little u showed
It was in good shape! Thanks for watching.
Cool video Steve hope you see more soon 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Those bucket seats in the Apache look like 66 GTO seats. 😎🏁

Yes, it was. It is a honey hole for sure!
Did you get the airplane propeller that was cool
Yes, I did!
Gee, sure wish we had treasure hunt yards like that here (or even close by, lol)... All we got are piles of rust chips. Thanx for the tour !!

I'm not apposed to gasoline but I do prefer the older Cummins because I can run alternative fuels in them. Thanks again Raphael for watching!
that old delivery would be sweet with a 3cyl turbo diesel and a camper conversion
I like the way you think!
My first vehicle was a 3/4 ton 59 Apache long bed step side with a 283 and a granny 4 speed. Loved that truck but the no power steering sucked.
Extremely cool!
3/4 ton defiantly made for a Cummins what would Merlin do
Cummins for sure!
wow, a supertruck you find there and what a nice "junkyard"! Could be there for hours. Keep the paint as it is! Cheers from France
Great score
Thanks!
JUNK YARK IS THE WRONG NAME FOR A PLACE LIKE THIS GOLD MINE MORE LIKE IT🤙
Agree!
Nice Olds engine out in that yard
I love junkyards
Got a guy running an Apache pickup for his landscape business over here locally in New Zealand.
cool!

Will do, thanks Husker 3435.
Steve, i can't wait!! Dean ( Soul) T.O
Great video glad you shared 🎉
Nice thing about a chevy, parts are everywhere. Not like my Fargo and studebaker.
Where is this junkyard located?
It's a private yard, not open to the public. Lucky Me!
bullnose for the win, clean 58 though
Those seats look like they're out of like a 64 Buick Riviera
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
63-64 galaxie seats?
Not sure on that but sounds like a good guess. Thanks for watching
Beeaauuutiful truck!!!
That desk is probably closer to 80 years old
Is the bus for sale?
It was sold. Really cool bus.

This truck needs a 1000WHP LBZ Duramax in it, with a hood stack!
Can't lie, Steve; the long-er hair makes you look *old* lol
Thanks Ronald, certainly don't want to look any older. None of the women like it either, so I cut it!
@@WelderUpVegas I'm only 32 & my hair is gray as yours, if not more gray. The women love it. All ages lol. Keep your gray tho 😁
