I never ever found a blue backpacker. All of them I found never chatted or followed me. But, all the pros steal the mondo loot and sprout loot. So in my opinion, pros with petal wand and coconut canister are worse then blue backpackers.

Seems like you almost died to this wild blue backpacker. My best survival tip is first to go to the mountain top field, then you wait for it to get there. Once you have done that, use a whirligig (teleports you to your hive) and then run to the maze next to the ticket tent. They usually then don't know where you went. It is my best survival tip for blue backpackers.
