I must admit after almost finishing renovating my 200 sqm bungalow in 3 years whilst living in it and we both have full-time job's I wouldn't even think about taking on such large places. In the end you have to answer yourselves the question: for whom am I doing the renovation? You need to be realistic (get rid of the pink glasses asap) the sooner, the better! Yes, I fully agree, Dan from: Escape to rural France 🇫🇷 indeed is an exception to the rule.
i live in Brittany & i found great decent houses for sale - and even more affordable ones than i thought still existed . In Belgium where i come from , i can't find a 110,000 Euro house with 2,300 Square meter of land in the middle of the countryside . So i am happy my intuition invited me to move over here . I got a few British friends who also felt it was the best region to move to .
The first one made my heart go pitter patter ❤ great location! Character. Lands not too big. Now i need just a few more hundreds of thousands of dollars/euros. Love your vids looking forward to the new series.
The contrast between the gorgeous historic regal exteriors and the modern kitchen renovations is nauseating in my opinion. Still preferrable to a million dollar house in Toronto Canada that is the minimum you will pay for something with zero appeal. Hoping France wil be in my future. Just curious how much a million dollar home in France costs to run in electricity and water, taxes, etc on a yearly basis.
maybe if you identified the properties in advance and then presented them in the proper sales pitch format this would garner more attention. This is very half assed as we say in America. I can look these up myself as you are doing here. You are the "Professional" put some effort into it. Good luck.

I am not trying to sell them, there is no common file in France. I am just comparing what is on the market and giving my opinion on them.

Brittany thinking it is Britain when you look at the prices......
