Nick the water doesn’t have as much beneficial bacteria you have to take out used media if you have any that’s freshwater and if you don’t just get a beneficial bacteria bottle starter
He can escape!! unless you have a lid he will eventualy find a way out. I breed crayfish and have learned this the hard way multiple times sometimes even with a lid. Withought a lid this has happend every time to me withought tall decorations or wood and only low bottom pvc pipes. @@MightyDude11 2.5 works too but that doesn't mean the fish could thrive in it and Nick being this influencer kinda guy should know better and help others by directing them in the right path
That cray is just a baby, only a couple inches a 10 gallon is plenty of space for it to thrive for now. It can be upgraded to a bigger tank if need once it’s full grown. And he said it’s going into a big tank later so it just has to be temporary.
I dunno if anyone mentioned this. But make sure not to bury the anubias. I can’t tell what the back right tank is, but any epiphytes can’t be buried. The rhyzome will rot and die. And they are escape artists, a lid is very important

That tank is going to look good for like a week until all the plants start to melt away because they where grown out of water and they don’t have any nutrients in the substrate
Those are actually epiphyte plants the rhiozome can’t be planted like that and yes they will melt cause they are emersed grown but they don’t feed from the gravel Becuase it is inert and there is no CEC in the soil they will feed from the water column but there is not that much nutrients in the water so there will probably be lots of defiencys
