Lastly, we cannot blame all government officials in regarding to the closure of ABSCBN.

Don't blame it to this admistration, since 2014 Abs Cbn was unsuccessful to get a franchise renewal from the congress this is under the term of Aquino - why?
To make it simple if your job contract expires would this be a violation of labor laws? you dont need to be a lawyer or a broadcaster to answer that. So stop using violation of press freedom and speech as a battlecry, filipino people don't fall for that tactics anymore they know better.

I remember having a cable back in the day with multiple channels (from Fox movies to HBO) , but my mother only watches ABS shows. After the shutdown she's not talking about it but I know she's hurt deep inside. 💔

I see people telling that It is Abs-cbn's fault why they were forced to stop broadcasting because they weren't able to renew their provitional "contract" with the NTC. We know ABS-CBN became the bias of every Filipino because of its shows and some features, but we can't directly say that it is ABS-CBN's Fault. Like what The President of the ABS-CBN said that they did all the requirements needed to renew their contract but their was no action. You know ABS-CBN is not forcing us to be with them, they even asked for us to be with them. If you cant be with them then don't. No one is forcing you. The only point here is that they are working hard to get back again on air.

Some people are happy that ABS-CBN shut down but please let us take into consideration the thousands of people who just lost their jobs. Some who has been staying at the company for years, even considering it as their home. There might have been lapses and laws broken but let's focus on the positive stuff. At some point, they were able to help out many people. We, Filipinos, should not be against each other, nor should we be divided by favoring companies, ideologies and political parties.
