- This video of Phone Dekho is sony xperia 1 mark 3 review , this phone was released 3 years ago now a days it is selling at very compelling price so you guys must be planning to but it in 2024. In this sony Xperia 1 mark 3 review we will discuss following topics in details.
Design & Build Quality:
xperia 1 mark iii has very unique and immersive design, sony made it flat with sharp edges. sony 1mark 3 has gorilla glass 6 on it's back, gorilla glass victus on front which is very durable & scratch resistant. Phone's right side has volume buttons, power button, fingerprint scanner and dedicated camera shutter button. sony xperia mark 3 has very good futuristic design.
Display:
sony xperia 1 mark iii has 6.5 inch OLED display. Sony claim that it is 4k display but in terms of actual resolution it is roughly 3k. While phone runs at FHD resolution, So claiming that it has 4k display is more like a marketing gimmick. sony 1mark 3 has 120hz display which feels very smooth and responsive, but it consumes more power at 120hz. Display gets decently bright so no problem at outdoor visibility.
Battery life:
xperia 1 mark 3 battery test shows that it don't have good battery life, phone is equipped with 4500mah battery but combination of power hungry snapdragon 888 chip and a power hungry display battery gets depleted very quickly, it gives 5 hours screen on time on regular normal use, 4 hours screen on time on heavy use while 3 hours screen on time on extreme use like continuous game plays or camera usage.
Performance:
xperia 1 mark 3 performance test shows that it is runs very smoothly because it is powered by snapdragon 888 and 12 GB LPDDR5 fast ram. sony xperia 1 mark 3 pubg test shows that it can run pubg at higher graphic setting for long time with sustained performance. It's 120 hz display makes everything smooth and responsive. So performance is still very impressive considering it's 3 year old device.
Fingerprint:
xperia 1 mark 3 has fingerprint scanner on it's right side exactly where your thumbs naturally sits, so unlocking your phone is absolutely effortless and fingerprint scanner works perfectly fine every time. It feels bit slow but gets the job done.
Speakers:
sony xperia 1 mark iii has dual front firing stereo speakers, my expectations were high but speakers are not enough loud and base rich. Speakers sound clear but audio quality is very poor.
Camera:
sony xperia 1 mark 3 camera test shows that it very powerful camera hardware sensors are big, lenses are fast and zoom is also good. It has triple camera setup on it's back 12mp ultra wide, 12mp main camera, 12Mp 3x/4.4x camera. Camera hardware is good but software is not good enough to compete with other companies flagship devices like iPhones or Google pixels. Every smartphone camera needs strong image processing algorithms to handle HDR and colour reproduction. But unfortunately we are missing it on this device. sony xperia 1 mark 3 camera zoom test shows good detailed photos but camera lacks in colours and HDR.
Videography:
sony xperia 1 mark iii cinematic video is good for content creators but not good for normal consumers. Videography has one major problem we don't get continuous zooming between all camera lenses. As we cannot switch between camera lenses while recording video, so videography is not smooth as other brands like apple & Samsung.
Conclusion:
sony xperia 1 mark iii in 2024 is good for people who prefer unique things, it has good battery life, good display, excellent build quality but camera is not good, battery life is average or not good for many users.

@@Phone_Dekho already using it for last 6 months. No heating i play call of duty mobile on it battery timing is awesome, there it's average heating, (heating is a common issue on every phone).
And cameras, they are perfectly clear images and videos(either you didn't clear the lens while shooting or you bought a referbed device )
And Snapdragon 888 is powerful, but it does not mean if you turn on every single feature to maximum with full brightness and then cry over that this is a useless phone.
This is a flagship and successful phone which is just to be handled with care.
