This was so much fun to watch! I am not good at sketching so this is still intimidating to me but you are so great at reminding us that art doesn't have to be rigid and perfect. You have really inspired me to start exploring this world of art and watercolor painting.

Definitely going to try this for my Sunday afternoon me-time! When you go back in with the darker color, are you using more pigment of the same color, or are you using a different color? I would love to see cat/dog paintings as well. I have a flat-coated retriever and I’ve never been able to capture her black color very well. She is a true black, so all you see on her is where light is reflected... eyes, bit of nose, teeth, sunlight on her fur. She’s a beauty, but hard to draw! I also love pictures with sleeping kitties. It always looks so peaceful.
